Hallow Tradition

When a wizard chooses to follow the Hollow Tradition, their souls wake to their past lives as a great fey or the goddess of magic remove the bridle to their knowledge.

Vocal Channeling

When you select this Tradition at 2nd level, you can no longer speak outside of casting. As your voice becomes a focus. When you cast a spell requiring a vocal component, you can forgo any somatic and material components, if the material components do not have a gold value. You also learn the spell Command, and can cast it once without using a spell slot per short or long rest. You do not need to share a language with a creature, but the creature must be able to speak at least one language for the spell to take effect.This spell counts as a Wizard spell for you.

Spoken Spells

Beginning at 2nd level, you can choose one spell with the only component being vocal, from any spell list. This spell counts as a Wizard spell for you, but it is not learned. This spell must be of a level in which you already have spell slots. After a long rest, you can spend two hours sprawling your mind for the words to cast a different spell. This spell must still have only vocal components for its required casting, and must be of a level in which you already have spell slots. 

As you gain levels in this class you gain access to more spells. At 6th level you have access to another spell, and again at 10th level, and again at 14th level. Although you can only cast one of these spells per short or long rest. 

Commanding Presence

Starting at 6th level you gain an aura of authority that projects up to 30ft from you. In this aura, creatures affected by spells that force them to make a Wisdom Save makes them at disadvantage. Friendly creatures in this aura affected by spells that heal them, any 1s are rerolled, and the second roll must be taken.

When you cast Command as a 3rd level spell, you can command creatures to harm themselves.

Words Beyond Silence

Starting at 10th level, whenever you are within an area of Silence, you can still cast your spells with vocal components, or in an area with no air without suffocating. If you are gagged or incapacitated you still cannot use your vocal components.

Powerful Words

Starting at 14th level, your time spent mastering your voice and spell casting has driven you to the peak of your vocal prowess. You can cast any 5th level or lower spell with only vocal components once per short or long rest without expending a spell slot or memorizing it with your Spoken Spells Class feature.
