Infernal Bloodline

You have inherited arcane gifts from an ancestor's or your own encounter with a Devil. The bloodline has been tainted with the inherently magical nature of a fiend from the Nine Hells.

Tongue of the Nine Hells

At 1st level, You can speak, read, and write Infernal.

Additionally, whenever you make a Charisma check when interacting with devils, your proficiency bonus is doubled if it applies to the check.

You have proficiency in either Persuasion or Deception.

Devilish Resilience

As magic flows through your body, it causes physical traits of your tainted bloodline to emerge. At 1st level, your hit point maximum increases by 1 and increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class.

When you aren’t wearing armor, your AC equals 13 + your Dexterity modifier.

Hellfire Invocation

Starting at 6th level, when you cast a spell that deals fire damage, you can add your Charisma modifier to one damage roll of that spell. Additionally fire damage from your spells and abilities ignores resistances.

Essence Drain

At 14th level, you gain the ability to drain the essence of a dead foe. When you reduce a hostile creature to 0 hit points, choose one of the following effects:

• Gain temporary hit points equal to half your Sorcerer level
• Restore 1 expended sorcery point
• Regain hit points equal to your Charisma modifier

Bonfire of the Damned

Beginning at 18th level, you can call forth a pillar of hellfire to burn your foes.

As an action, you create a 20-foot-radius, 40-foot-high cylinder centered on a point within 60 ft. Each creature in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw(against your spellcasting DC.) A target takes 12d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.  On a failed save, a creature becomes frightened of you until the end of its next turn. A creature reduced to 0 hit points is immediately disintegrated to a fine gray dust and their soul is bound to be reborn in the River Styx as a lemure.

Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
