Monk
Base Class: Monk

as

Soothing Touch

At 3rd level, you gain access to a pool of healing dice that replenishes after you complete a long rest. The number of healing dice in the pool equals to half your Monk level, rounded up. Your healing dice starts as a d6, becoming a d8 at 6th level, a d10 at 10th level and a d12 at 14th level.

As an action, you can touch a creature and spend some healing dice from the pool to heal them. Alternatively, you can spend healing dice from your pool to cure diseases or neutralize poisons, using one healing dice per affliction.

You may expend 1 ki point to use this feature as a bonus action.
This feature has no effect on undead and constructs.

Emissary of Peace

Starting at 3rd level, whenever you make a Charisma ability check to calm violent emotions or to counsel peace, you may add your Wisdom modifier to the roll.
You also gain proficiency in the Performance and Persuasion skills.

Path of Tranquility

Beginning at 6th level, you become an island of calm in even the most chaotic of situations, surrounding yourself with an aura of peace. At the end of a short rest, you gain the effect of a sanctuary spell (Ki save DC) that lasts until the start of your next rest (the spell can end early as normal). A creature that succeeds on the save is immune to this effect for 1 minute.

Lotus Guardian

At 11th level, you master the use of your own body as a shield for others. After taking the Dodge action or using Patient Defense, you can impose disadvantage on any attacks made by a creature you can see against another creature that's within 5 feet of you.

Additionally, whenever an attack made by a creature you can see against a creature that's within 10 feet of you connects, you can use your reaction and expend 3 ki points to move to a space adjacent to them and receive the attack in their stead. As part of the same reaction:

  • Melee attacks or spells deal half the damage and provoke an attack of opportunity if the attacker is within your melee reach.
  • Ranged attacks grant the use of your Deflect Missile ability.

If you had previously taken the Dodge action or used Patient Defense, the ability costs 2 ki point instead.

Gift of the Martyr

Beginning at 17th level, when a creature you can see fails its last death saving throw, or is slain by any means, you can use your reaction and expend the remainder of your ki points to die in their stead. In doing so, you grant the hit points you had before sacrificing to the creature whose impending death triggered this ability. Any hit points that exceed the creature's maximum, turn into temporary hit points.
Additionally, your body gains the effects of the gentle repose spell and any attempts to bring you back to life cost no material component and impose no penalty on you.
