Base Class: Monk
The sounds of combat raged around the monk, her vestments settled over her kneeling form. Her eyes closed, the surrounding noise fell away as a low hum filled her mind. A dull glow filled her hiding place, igniting into a rolling aura around her. Her war cry fills the cave as she leaps at the gnolls, each strike tossing their broken forms away from her spinning form. Golden light pours off of her as she wades through the enemy, breaking their lines.
Come Back Fighting
If you drop to 0 hit points but don't die (1/long rest), you gain a permanent +1 to damage with monk weapons and unarmed strikes, up to a maximum of 3.
Fists of Fury
You can spend 2 ki points to deal an additional 1D6 radiant damage on your first attack that hits.
Shining Warrior
Focus Time: 1 action
Cost: 3 ki points
Duration: 5 minutes
At the beginning of your action, you start to focus.
You focus and concentrate your ki, creating a powerful aura that surrounds you. You cast dim light in a 5 foot radius around you. Perception checks to see you are made at advantage.
You gain 10 + your monk level temporary hit points. Additionally, when you hit with an unarmed strike or monk weapon, you roll 2 of your Martial Arts dice.
At the end of the duration, you are incapacitated for 1 round
Burning Bright
Focus Time: 1 action. If you are already in Shining Warrior, 1 bonus action
Cost: 6 ki points. If you are already in Shining Warrior, 4 ki points
Duration: 1 minute
You cast bright light in a 5 foot radius and dim light in a further 5 feet. You are unable to stealth for the duration.
You gain 20 + your monk level temporary hit points. Additionally, when you hit with an unarmed strike or monk weapon, you roll 4 of your Martial Arts dice.
At the end of the duration, you take 1 point of exhaustion.
Soul Alight
Focus Time: 2 actions. If you are already in Burning Bright, 1 action.
Cost: 13 ki points. If already in Burning Bright, 3 ki points
Duration: 5 rounds
When you enter this state, you may use your Flurry of Blows for free on your bonus action.
You cast daylight in a 5 foot radius, bright light in a further 5, and dim light for 5 beyond that. Attacks made against you are made with advantage.
You gain 40 + your monk level temporary hit points. Additionally, when you hit with an unarmed strike or monk weapon, you roll 6 of your Martial Arts dice.
When you hit a creature in this form, it must make a Strength saving throw against your Monk DC. On a failure, it is pushed 15 feet away from you.
At the end of the duration, you take 1 level of exhaustion, are incapacitated for 1 round, and are stunned for the following round.
