Some powerful sentient items have power beyond just those granted by the item, called Eldritch Haunts. Likewise, some locations are able to create sentient manifestations, such as the Eldritch Emissary of the Stone Circle of Xak-Mahyar or the Heart of Magic in Bastion. These objects and places of sentient magical energy are capable of forming bonds with mortals and granting them powers in exchange for a pact. The Sentience doesn’t give its gifts often, and it offers foresight, magical insight, and unique advantages to those few that are chosen to receive such gifts.

Arcane Intuition

Starting at 1st level, your patron grants you advantage on initiative checks and Intelligence (Arcana) checks. Once you use this feature on an initiative check, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Body of the Arcane

You take on a slight aspect of whatever form your patron originates from (determined by the player of DM). In doing so, you become resistant to that which affects living creatures. You gain resistance to poison damage and psychic damage.

Prodigy of Attunement

Working with a being of sentient magic allows you to tap into the threads of the Art itself and twist its restrictions in your favor. Starting at 6th level, attunement can be accomplished with 10 minutes of contact and concentration instead of the normal hour.

 

Master of Attunement

Starting at 10th level, you may attune to 4 magic items.

Nexus of the Arcane

At 14th level, your body is so infused with arcane essence, it is hard for harmful magic to hurt you. You have advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects. You also gain resistance to magical weapons.
