The Monk Order of Kolyth was founded by a cruel and sadistic man who taught through beating and battering his disciples, to what benefit is still somewhat unknown to the public. Monks of Kolyth are easily identified by their trademark orange robes and wrappings and are often beaten, bruised, and scarred due to their rigorous training. It's rumored that within this somewhat esoteric order they train in the art of soul separation and manipulation of the mind. On more than one occasion people of the public have seen others succumb to the will of the monks and do things they normally wouldn't and those who have faced them in the battlefield tout rumors of them controlling others like puppets and turning friends into foes alike.

Manipulate Spirit

The Way of Kolyth teaches the manipulation of a creatures spirit and will through pain. Beginning at 3rd level whenever you make an unarmed strike against a creature you may spend a number of ki points to cast one of the following spells against the creature. When cast in this way if the spell has a range of touch and if it were to normally affect multiple creatures it instead only affects the target of your attack. Additionally, the unarmed strike used to cast the spell is not considered an attack or harmful action against the creature for the purposes of spells such as Enthrall or Calm Emotions.

Kolyth Puppetry

Monks of the order of Kolyth have learned that the souls willingness to stay connected to the body wavers as the body weakens or sustains extreme damage. Beginning at 3rd level you learn the art of taking advantage of this weakened state and can expel the soul temporarily allowing you to take control of their body like a puppet. When you make an unarmed strike against a creature which brings them below 0 hit points you can spend a ki point to force the creature to make a wisdom saving throw. On failure the creatures soul is expelled until the creature dies, returns to consciousness, or you lose concentration. During this time the creature is considered charmed by you in the same way as the Dominate Person spell. 

Break Will

At 6th level you learn that a weakened body leaves a weakened mind and a weakened mind can be penetrated. At 6th level, for 6 seconds after landing a critical strike on a creature you have advantage on all charisma checks against the creature and they have disadvantage on all wisdom saving throws against you.

Pain Suppression

Through the torturous training of Kolyth you’ve trained your body to endure an immense amount of incoming pain. At 11th level, as a reaction when you take incoming damage you may spend a ki point to reduce the incoming damage by an amount equal to your monk level + your constitution modifier. Additionally you have advantage on any concentration check incurred by the incoming attack. You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution modifier and regain all uses on a long rest.

Kolyth Dominion

At 17th level you’ve gained mastery over commanding the will of weakened creatures. When you use your Kolyth Puppetry feature the creature is now stabilized and the duration becomes indefinite unless cured by Greater Restoration, an effect which ends charm effects on the creature, or you lose concentration. Additionally, you’re now able to simultaneously concentrate on controlling a creature charmed by your Kolyth Puppetry feature as well as any other concentration spell granted by your Manipulate Spirit feature.
