Base Class: Bard
The College of the Mime Bard is a bard who has trained in the ancient art of the invisible and unseen, a Master of Performance with a flair for the dramatic, they rely on their excellent acting skills to bring the previously unseen into reality. They entertain their audiences through silent theatre regaling them with tales of bravery and heroism, with nothing but their bodies to tell the tale. Their amazing tales are heard of across the lands… Well they would be if they weren’t silent.
Unseen Assets
At 3 level, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspirations in order to create an invisible object. You have the choice of 3 different objects but can only concentrate on one at a time.
- Wall of Glass
As a bonus action you can create a wall 15ft long by 15ft tall within 30ft of you, any creature that attempts to pass through the wall must make a Charisma saving throw equal to your spell save DC, on a failed save the creature is stopped by the wall, and if they have already moved 10ft or more take 1d6 bludgeoning damage. The creature is unaffected by the wall on a successful save. The wall lasts for 1 minute
At 6 level the wall increases to 20ft by 20ft
At 14 level the wall increases to 30ft by 30ft
- Invisible Blade
As a bonus action you can create an invisible weapon in your hands, as an action on your turn you can make a melee attack with the weapon against an enemy within 5ft of you, using your charisma bonus and proficiency bonus as the attack modifier. On a hit you use your bardic inspiration dice roll plus your charisma modifier. The weapon lasts for one minute.
- Steed of Gale
As a bonus action can create an invisible steed underneath your feet, when on this steed your movement speed is doubled. The steed lasts for 1 minute.
Silencio
Starting at 3 level you can now cast your bard spells without using verbal components and instead use somatic components.
Feign Death
As a reaction when an enemy hits you with a melee attack, you can choose to take half damage from the attack. You can use this feature as many times as your charisma modifier (minimum of once) per long rest.
Master of Mimicry
As a reaction you can expend one of your bardic inspirations to attempt to copy the ability of an opponent.
If an opponent makes a melee weapon attack you can perform a performance check, if the total exceeds the targets AC the target takes the same damage dice as the initial melee attack.
If attempting to copy a spell you can perform a performance check with a DC of 10 plus the spells level if you exceed the DC, you can copy the spell and select a new target for the spell.
