Monks of the Way of the Spirit Armament are an elusive and secret order, one spoken of in rumors and whispers. They have passed down secret runic arts and techniques to channel the ki into highly specialized weapons, expert killing tools at range or in melee. A master of these tools becomes a whirlwind of devastation, effortlessly dispatching foes no matter the field of combat. Their foes speak of them with fear and reverence, describing them as heroes or terrifying monsters.

Path of the Spirit Armament

When you choose this tradition at 3rd level, your special training leads you to master the use of your legacy weapons. You gain the following benefits.

Spirit Gun Training. You gain proficiency with spirit guns (and firearms in campaigns that use them). These are ranged weapons with a 30/90 range and deals piercing damage. They use your monk die for damage. When you reach 11th level in this class the range changes to 50/150.

Close Quarters Combatant. You do not suffer from disadvantage for making a ranged attack while engaged in melee. You may also use your spirit guns as a melee weapon having the light , ammunition, and finesse properties.

Extension of the Self. Whenever you use your Flurry of Blows you may use your Spirit Guns for one or all of the attacks.

Master Craftsman. Through learning the arduous process of forging spirit guns you gain proficiency with blacksmithing tools. You can use these tools to manufacture or repair your spirit guns and to craft ammunition for them.

One With The Gun

At 6th level you increase your mastery and your ability to channel your ki into your guns, granting the following benefits.

Spirit Infused Bullets. Your attacks with your spirit guns count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage.

Ki Fragment Rounds. You can spend 1 ki point to ignore the need for ammunition until the start of your next turn by directly firing your ki. Your attacks also deal force damage while this effect is active.

Spirit Destruction Wave

At 11th level, you gain the ability to channel your spirit and focus your ki into a weapon of focused destruction. As an action, you magically fire a soul blast in a line 100ft long and 5ft wide  originating from you. You can use your gun or finger tip to channel this effect.

Each creature in that line must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or take 2d6 force damage.

You can increase the line's damage by spending ki points. Each point you spend, up to a maximum of 3, increases the damage by 2d6.

Soul Infusion

At 17th level, the a part of your very being is permanently infused into the spirit guns you wield. You now do double your monk die in damage when make an attack with your spirit guns until the start of your next turn on any round in which you spend a ki point.
