Base Class: Bard
Purrsephone has chosen you to imbue with her chaotic magic to introduce some spice into the fairly formulaic lives of the Tabaxi people.
You have been struck by a falling meteor and reborn from the ashes to spread gleeful chaos throughout the world.
The world is your stage and you are the only player that matters. You play for your muse, the goddess, and the music within you grants you incredible power over others.
You can bend others to your whim as you bewitch them in your melodies and bolster your friends with an electric tune.
You are one with the chaos and the music of chaos is within you.
Unlike many patrons, however, Purrsephone does not require great deeds of battle and glory from you.
She frowns upon direct violence as she sees it as crude and prefers a more subtle approach.
It is better to convince a man to kill themselves than to do it yourself and it is better still to create a chain of events that makes others kill him for you.
The music is a guide to channel the chaos into the world and watch it react, but is rarely directly weaponized.
Some may call you Bard, but those who invite you to play for them do not understand what they truly are bringing into their lives.
Chrono-Chaos Power Chord
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to slip between the natural music of the universe in response to harm.
Aside from using your music to channel your spells, you can actually use it to briefly warp the time space around one of your allies.
As you play your instrument, you levitate a few inches off the ground and your music sends out waves of chaotic time magic.
Your final power chord is so great that your allies are able to ride the waves of music and get a split second advantage of movement.
As a bonus action, spend one use of Bardic Inspiration to allow up to {{modifier:cha@min:1#unsigned}} creatures you can see and that can see you within 60 ft to immediately use its reaction to move up to its speed, without provoking opportunity attacks.
Chaos Theory
Life is chaos and reality is...well, let's just say flexible.
At 3rd level, you are able to tap into the raw chaotic music of the cosmos and give fate a nudge in the right direction.
When a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you makes an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can use your reaction to expend one of your uses of Bardic Inspiration, and subtracting the number rolled from the creature’s roll.
You can choose to use this feature after the creature makes its roll, but before the DM determines whether the attack roll or ability check succeeds or fails, or before the creature deals its damage. The creature is immune if it can’t hear you or if it’s immune to being charmed.
Chaotic Nature
At the 3rd level you have realized that tapping into the constructs of reality itself and seeing the chaos therein has come with some unusual side effects.
You have become distracted by the music of the cosmos and the splitting of realities and as such, you have become less attached to the physical world.
You have Disadvantage on Survival and Nature checks.
To act as your tether, your Patron has gifted you an immortal familiar from the realm of Chaos itself. It seems that whenever it is destroyed, another version from a different reality appears. You may choose the form of your familiar as any creature with a CR of 1/4 and is Tiny in size. If you wish to change the form of your familiar or bring it back from the dead, you must wait until the next Dawn to do so.
Cloak of Chaos
At 6th level, you gain the ability to cloak yourself in a chaos magic that makes others want to serve you. As a bonus action, you cast command, without expending a spell slot, and you take on an appearance of unearthly beauty for 1 minute or until your concentration ends (as if you were concentrating on a spell). During this time, you can cast command as a bonus action on each of your turns, without expending a spell slot.
Any creature charmed by you automatically fails its saving throw against the command you cast with this feature.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Phase Shift Escape
Starting at 6th level, you can slip between the natural music of the universe in response to harm. When you take damage, you can expend an Inspiration to use your reaction to turn invisible and teleport up to 60 feet to an unoccupied space you can see. You remain invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack or cast a spell.
Secret Knowledge
You have listened to the musical magic of the world as it is in use and you have managed to capture some knowledge that was not designed for your kind.
At 6th level, you learn two spells of your choice from any class. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table, or a cantrip. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.
Form of the Cosmos
At 14th level, your appearance permanently gains an otherworldly aspect that make those who gaze upon you to hear whispers of the secrets of the universe itself.
In addition, as a bonus action, you can assume a magically godlike presence for 1 minute or until you are incapacitated. For the duration, whenever any creature tries to attack you for the first time on a turn, the attacker must make a Charisma saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failed save, it can’t attack you on this turn, and it must choose a new target for its attack or the attack is wasted. On a successful save, it can attack you on this turn, but it has disadvantage on any saving throw it makes against your spells on your next turn.
Once you assume this majestic presence, you can’t do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
