Ranger
Base Class: Ranger

You have trained to master a form of archery known as Kyudo. This originated in a class of samurai back in feudal Japan, where they were experts with the bow. You use your skills from afar, trying to hit precisely, hoping to never use close ranged weaponry and rely on your ability to kill at range.

Supreme Marksmanship

At 3rd level, you gain a +1 to attack rolls with ranged weapons. You additionally have a +1 to damage rolls against flying creatures.

Supporting Fire

Starting at 7th level, you can use a bonus action, after attacking an unfriendly creature with a ranged weapon, to give support to a friendly creature within 5 feet of the target of that attack, that you can see. The creature that is given support has advantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and skill checks until the start of your next turn.

This feature can be used a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier per long rest.

Kyudo Specialty

At 11th level, you can choose one of the following options.

Anti Air Unit

When you make a ranged weapon attack against a flying creature, you have advantage on the attack roll. If you roll a 20 on the roll to hit, the creature's flying speed is reduced to 0 until the start of your next turn.

Mounted Hunter

When you make a ranged weapon attack against a mounted creature, or a creature that is mounted, if you roll a 1 for damage, you can apply your dexterity modifier to the damage twice. Additionally, if you roll the highest damage on the die while attacking a mounted creature, they are forced to make a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC. On a failure the creature falls prone, off of their mount.

On a failure, the creature takes an additional 6d10 necrotic damage, and half as much on a success.

This feature can be used once per long rest, and it must be declared if its being used before the attack.
