The Bushido code. 

  1. Justice: Justice is a core value of the Samurai. Incorporating the Bushido principle of justice into your life requires reflecting on what is fair and upholding the value of upstanding moral character. 
  2. Courage: Courage, like justice, entails deciphering what is right and wrong. Courage requires the strength not only to perceive but also to act.  
  3. Compassion: Compassion is the ability to manifest love and sympathy through patience. It also requires attempting to see the world from the perspective of another. This is an especially important trait for those in a leadership role.
  4. Respect: Respect means that you acknowledge your regard for the experiences and feelings of others. In order to collaborate with another person, politeness must be employed.  
  5. Integrity: In order to practice many of the other principles listed, one has to maintain integrity. This mean living honestly and sincerely.   
  6. Honor: Samurai were warriors who upheld a sense of self worth and lived by the highest code of conduct. In order to abide by the principle of honor, you must acknowledge your moral responsibilities.
  7. Loyalty: First, stay true to yourself. When fealty is given to another, this must not be abandoned even under difficult circumstances.
  8. Self-control: Self-control in the Bushido code means adhering to this code under all circumstances, when with others and when alone. 

Way of the sword.

Beginning at third level the monk can choose one of three blade techniques once chosen do to there focus and training from past Bushido they can add there wisdom modifier to attack and damage and there proficiency is one higher when wielding a focused weapon.

  • Odachi style:with this style you use the great sword as your weapon focus.
  • Daisho style:with this style you use long sword short sword.
  • Kenjutsu style:with this style you wield a single long sword.
Two Heavens

(you must have chosen dashio style for this technique) For 2 ki points you go into a frenzy attacking in all directions with lightning speed everyone within a 10 foot radius must make a dc 15 dex save on a failure they take 2d8 slashing damage and are pushed back 5 feet , on a successful save they take half dmg and are not pushed back.

For each additional ki point you spend you can add 1d8 up to a maximum of your level

Twin heavens

(You must have chosen dashio style) For 2 ki points you go into a frenzy attacking in all directions with lightning speed everyone within a 10 radius must make a dex save 8+wis+prof on a failure they take 2d8 slashing damage and are pushed back 5 feet ,on a successful save they take half damage and are not pushed back.

For each additional ki spent you can add 1d8 up to a maximum of your level. 

Split the heavens

(Must have chosen Odachi style)For 2 ki points You swing your sword in a powerful downward arc every creature in a 15 ft cone in front of you must make a dex saving throw 8+wis+prof

on a failed save they take 3d6 slashing damage half damage on a success.

you can add 1 additional d6 for every point of ki you spend to maximum of your level

 

Heavens blade

(you must have chosen kenjutsu style) During your attack action you can choose to spend 1 ki point if you do you can move 10 feet without costing you movement if you attack is successful you can spend 1 ki point to deal an additional 1d10 slashing damage.

If you have multiple attack you can use this feature on each attack.    

Heavens mercy

You can spend 1 ki point to heal an ally only an amount equal to your martial arts die plus your wisdom modifier.

Fury of the heavens

You can spend 3 ki points and instead of unarmed attacks you can use your focused weapon during a flurry of blows.

Winds of heaven

You can spend 1 ki point to leap a distance equal to your movement you can also leap from and land on objects that you normally couldn't such as bamboo small post tree limbs ect..... 

Treacherous path

(When using  daisho) You can spend 1 ki point and for the next minute any attack against you takes your wisdom modifier in damage.

Mountains fire

(When using odachi)You can spend 1 ki point and for one minute you can add you str bonus to your damage roll on top of your wisdom.

Mountains defence

(When using kenjutsu) You can spend 1 ki point and for the next minute the first attack against you from an enemy is at disadvantage.  

Mountain crane

You become proficient with a bow able to use all basic weapon ki ability's with it. 

The unsteady path

When an attack misses you you can spend 1 ki point to redirect it to an enemy at lest 5 ft from the attacker. 

Mountain lotus

You can take an action to put yourself into a stance that when seen by anyone within 30 feet must make a wisdom save 8+wis+prof. on a failed save they have the fear condition if the succeed they cannot be affected by this ability again. 

Falling star

(When using daisho)You can spend 4 ki points when you do you can attack everything in a 20 ft radius dealing 8d6 damage to everything in the area of effect on a failed dex save of 8+wis+prof. if the succeed they take half damage. 

You can spend 1 ki point to add an additional d6 t.o a maximum of your lvl 

Leaping tiger

(when using odachi)You can spend 3 ki points upon which you leap up to 30 feet through the air causing 3d10 damage in a 10 foot radius from your point of departure in a 10 foot radius and as an option make a melee attack upon landing you add one additional 1d10 on a successful attack.

you can increase the d10 on the attack by one for every ki point you spend to a maximum of 3

Falcons speed

(When using kenjutsu) You can spend three ki points to cast haste upon yourself.

Rising Phoenix

When you are reduced to 0 hp you can use one ki point to bring yourself back to 1 hp

True Bushido

You can upon a long rest meditate putting your self under the effects of the sanctuary spell until your next long rest 

Five fingers of Budda

when using flurry of blows you can add three additional attacks equaling 5 each can target a different creature. Each creature reduced to 0 by this ability restores ki points equal to your wisdom modifier.

  • if used with odachi : on the final attack you can spend 1 to 10 ki points if you do the creature taks an additional 1 to 10 d10
  • if used with daisho: at the beginning of this action you can spend 1 to 10 ki points the area of effect increases 5ft dealing damage to everything in the area equal to damage from successful attacks. 
  • if used with kenjutsu:on the final blow you can spend 1 to 10 ki points if you do the target of attack must make con save of 8+wis+prof if on a failed save the creature is reduced to 0 hp if successful they take 1d6 damage equal to the number of kin points spent.
