Warlock
Base Class: Warlock

“Your Patron is an ancient, isolated being. It was impressed when you found them, hidden away deep in the recesses of the planes. Throughout their time, they have watched generations pass on the Material Plane. It is motivated to gain as much knowledge as possible, without discriminating on what information they receive. All knowledge is useful.”

Fey Presence

Starting at 1st level, your patron bestows upon you the ability to project the beguiling and fearsome presence of the fey. As an action, you can cause each creature in a 10-foot cube originating from you to make a Wisdom saving throw against your warlock spell save DC. The creatures that fail their saving throws are all charmed or frightened by you (your choice) until the end of your next turn.

Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Third Eye's Vision

Starting at 6th level, the knowledge you gather makes combat predictable. Upon being harmed, you may use your reaction to get a glimpse into the future of your attacker. You roll a d20 and subtract your Charisma modifier. The rolled value becomes the base roll for your aggressor’s next attack or spell attack roll. They add their usual modifiers to this roll. If they have advantage or disadvantage for their next attack roll, you may choose to roll the additional die or have your original value duplicated for the second die’s rest.

Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you have completed a short or long rest.

Beguiling Defenses

Beginning at 10th level, you use your inner sight to see a person’s true nature. You are immune to being charmed, and you can enter into an Unseen State of Seeing. Once per long rest, you may concentrate for 1 minute while standing completely still, and disappear from view, withdrawing into the soul pathways of your third eye. This state will dissolve if you move or create noise, and the time you can spend in this state is equal to your warlock level + Charisma modifier. While in this state, your senses are heightened and you gain advantage on all perception rolls. Furthermore, you are undetectable by normal means, and others will pass through the space you are occupying without hindrance. An opposing perception check, when higher than your warlock spell save DC will alert the observer to a slight shimmer in the air in the area where you are standing. While others are in the same space as you, you are unable to end the effect and return to participating in the world, and should someone reside in this space when you expend the time you are able to spend in this state, your mind will snap from overexposure to the realm of true sight, you will be unable to return, and your physical form will be lost. Finally, while in this form, you are still susceptible to the effects of magic. For example, you will take the full effects of a fireball spell if within its range. You can also be detected and revealed by magical means, including, but not limited to, identify and see invisibility.

Overwhelming Knowledge

Starting at 14th level, you can give any other creature a glimpse into the realm of true sight that you learned to traverse.  As an action, choose a creature you can see within 60 feet of you. It must make a Wisdom save against your warlock spell save DC. On a failed save, the creature is subject to the frightening and insanity inducing realm of your true sight, taking 1d10 psychic damage per round for 10 rounds, during which time they are stunned. The effect ends early if they take damage or if you lose concentration. Once the spell ends, the creature does not remember what occurred and has a headache.

You must complete a short or long rest before you can use this feature again.
