Paladin
Base Class: Paladin

The Oath of Restoration binds paladins to be bringers of aid and good health, no matter who needs it. Paladins of the Oath of Restorations believe in the well being of life and nature. They seek to end plagues, diseases, and to those who are extremists, death itself. Life is to be preserved so it may thrive, and restoring not only health but well being, is the pinnacle of the Oath of Restoration. Those who take this Oath are faithful to gods of life and nature, typically gods of good as well. They hold guardians of life as their highest standards, and typically have some form of physical life on their armor, such as flowers, or images of life and nature on their coat of arms.

Though the words of the Oath of Restoration vary, paladins of this oath share these tenets.

Healing. People who are harmed are needed to be healed and able to recover. Though some may not be able to recover from what happens to them, any and all attempts to save them must be done. No pain or suffering should be tolerated.

Compassion. The hardest health to maintain is mental. Kindness and understanding to those in difficult times and on the verge of self-harm must be helped to avoid the pain they may cause themselves.

Maintenance. To restore something is only half of the job, protection and ensuring that it does not hurt further is the second half.

End to Suffering. Those who seek to harm others or cause suffering must be stopped. Though violence should not, and will not be the first option. Even though some situations will need you to act to stop this with force, you must be merciful, and can not strike to cause suffering, even to the ones most wicked.

Channel Divinity

When you take this Oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.

Purity of Health. As an action, you can choose as many creatures as your charisma modifier (minimum of 1) within 30ft in front of you. Each creature can be targeted by your Lay on Hands ability, regardless of there distance to you. And, for 1 minute, you may do Lay on Hands as both an action or a bonus action, however, you may not use this twice in one turn.

Beacon of Life. As an action, you may choose one creature up to 60ft away to be empowered by a Beacon of Life for 1 minute. Whenever you heal a target other than any with your Beacon of Life, your beacon of life is healed for half of the health restored. This can not be modified by effects that increase healing.

Oath Spells

You gain Oath spells at the paladin levels listed

3rd. Cure Wounds, Shield of Faith

5th. Lesser Restoration, Protection from Poison

9th. Aura of Vitality, Revivify

13th. Aura of Life, Death Ward

17th. Circle of Power, Raise Dead

Aura of Restoration

Starting at 7th level, you and friendly creatures around you within 10ft are slowly healed. At the start of any friendly target under your Aura's effect regains 1 hitpoint

At 18th level, this range is increased to 30ft, and the healing is increased to 1 + your charisma bonus (minimum of 2 hitpoints restored)

Holy Medic

At 15th level. your connection to your god is strengthened, and your power to heal and cleanse is empowered. Your Lay on Hands now gains an additional 5 points per paladin level you have, and now gains 10 points per level past 15th instead of 5 points.

Mythical Beacon

At 20th level, as an action, you shine bright with sunlight and form two shining, sunlight, flightless wings. For 1 minute, bright light shines 30ft around you, and dim light 30ft past that.

Whenever a friendly, non-hostile creature of your choice stands in this light, at the start of your turn, they regain health equal to your charisma modifier (minimum of 1)

In addition, you activate both your Channel Divinity options (choosing targets of your choice) and gain 100 points of Lay on Hands. If this goes over your maximum, the points still remain, but only last for 1 minute. Then these points fade.

Once you use this feature, you can not use it again until you finish a long rest.
