Monk
Base Class: Monk

Order of the Long Blade is as old as a martial arts itself. Its members train to become masters of bladed pole weapons and find the ideal balance between offense and defense. They belive that one's true self can only be found in battle, where death becomes more probable. "Every stick has two ends" is core of their philosophy and they try to use both ends of the stick.

They often wear purple robes and carry three kinds of weapons.

Long Blade Technique

Starting at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with glaives, halberds and pikes which also become monk weapons for you. You have advantage on opportunity attacks when using this weapons. Additionally, while wielding glaive, halberd or pike, every time your Monk feature let you use unarmed strike you can attack with blunt side of the weapon instead. This attack deals 1d4 bludgeoning damage and is considered as an attack with a monk weapon.

Combined Styles

Starting at 6th level, as an action you can spend 2 ki points and perform special assault depending on a weapon you are wielding.

Glaive - Your speed halves. During your movement you can attack creatures that are within your reach. You can't attack the same creature twice and once you attacked a creature you have to move at least 5 feet to attack another one. Enemies hit by you in this way can't take reactions until beginning of your next turn. You can attack number of creatures equal to your Wisdom modifier.

Halberd - Your speed falls to 0. You make one melee weapon attack against all creatures within your reach. Creatures hit by this attack take additional damage equal to your Martial Arts dice and are forced to make Strength saving throw or get knocked prone.

Pike - To perform this action, you need to move at least 20 feet in a straight line without interacting with objects or using bonus actions other than Dodge, Disengage or Dash. You make one attack against the target within your reach. If there is another creature behind the target that is also within your reach and within the line you were moving you can target that creature too. Targets hit by this attack take additional damage equal to twice your Martial Art dice and become grappled by you. (escape DC equal to your ki save DC). When you grapple in this way you can't make attacks with your pike. Releasing your pike automatically releases the grapple. You can't grapple Huge or larger creatures as normal.

Two-handed Defense

When you take Dodge action on your turn you can spend 1 ki point to increase your AC until the start of your next turn by half your Wisdom modifier (rounded up).

Additionally, if you wield monk weapon with a reach property you can use your reaction to gain yourself advantage on any Dexterity (Acrobatics) ability check or Dexterity saving throw.

Long Blade Master

Starting at 17th level, your long blade has truly become an extansion of yourself, allowing you to lean into your strikes. While wielding a monk weapon with the reach property, your reach increases by 5 feet.
