Base Class: Warlock
You have made a pact with a powerful spirit that has existed for 10,000 years, a spirit who values knowledge and secrets above all else. It's unclear how many of these spirits exist, or if there is only one, but it seeks out those who wish to learn and will only give its knowledge to those with unselfish motives. This spirit can be any alignment, though it usually doesn't assign itself to either "good" or "evil". It believes knowledge belongs to all, but will actively seek to punish any who destroy books, scrolls, and other sources of knowledge.
Spirit's Blessing
Starting at 1st level, you have advantage on Intelligence (History) and Intelligence (Investigation) checks made to recall or find information.
Spirit's Knowledge
Starting at 6th level, you can call on your patron to help aid you in your endeavors. You gain advantage on ability checks (including initiative and Concentration checks) for the next hour. Once you have used this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Spirit's Mind
Starting at 10th level, you choose two languages, two sets of tools, or two abilities (Acrobatics, Athletics, etc.) when you finish a short or long rest. If you choose the languages, you can speak, read, and write those languages fluently. If you choose the tools or abilities, you gain proficiency and expertise with those tools or abilities.
Spirit Veil
Starting at 14th level, you gain the ability to see invisible creatures and objects and into the Ethereal Plane out to a range of 60 ft.
Additionally, when a creature hits you with an attack, you can use this feature to instantly transport yourself to the Ethereal Plane. At the start of each of your turns, you reappear in a space within 30 ft. of the space from which you disappeared. At the end of each of your turns, you can choose whether or not you return to the Ethereal Plane. This benefit lasts for 1 minute.
Once you have used this feature, you can't use it again until you have finished a long rest.
