Rogue
Base Class: Rogue

You're a wanderer, a loner. Traveling from town to town not settling anywhere and there is no place that you call home. Life on the road has taught you some hard lessons giving you the skills needed to survive on your own. Though there is often strength in numbers, you are able to manage by yourself and in some cases even fair a bit better than you would in a group. Living this kind of lifestyle has pushed you into finding creative ways to earn a living through means such as practicing a craft or trade.

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in three types of artisan's tools of your choice. You are also able to use your skills with the tools you have chosen to make a substantial living. When crafting, you are able to craft better quality nonmagical objects including adventuring equipment and works of art. For every day of downtime you spend crafting, you can craft one or more items with a total market value not exceeding 10 gp and you must expend raw materials worth a quarter of the total market value. If something you want to craft has a market value greater than 10 gp, you make progress every day in 10-gp increments until you reach the market value of the item. Also, while crafting or working a profession, you are able to maintain a comfortable lifestyle without having to pay 2 gp per day. If your profession is performing and you are proficient in the performing skill, you are able to maintain an aristocratic lifestyle instead.

Loner

Starting at 3rd level, you gain certain benefits when you are alone. If no ally is within 120 feet of you, you gain advantage on all Dexterity checks when trying to hide or to move silently. Also, every attack you make when you are further than 120 feet from your closest ally has advantage for the purpose of using your sneak attack.

Inconspicuous Observant

Starting at 9th level, you have become skilled at going unnoticed. You gain the feat Observant which has the following benefits:

  • Increase your Intelligence score or Wisdom score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
  • If you can see a creature's mouth while it is speaking a language you understand, you can interpret what it's saying by reading its lips.
  • You have a +5 bonus to your passive Wisdom (Perception) and passive Intelligence (Investigation) scores.

Also, while working at your craft or profession, you gain advantage on all Intelligence checks to gain information and Perception checks when trying to overhear conversations. On a successful check, you always learn at least one key piece of information.

Incredible Stamina

Starting at 13th level, your constant travels has helped to build your stamina. Your Constitution score increases by 1, if your Constitution modifier doesn't increase by one from this, still add a number of Hit Points to your maximum equal to your level just like you would if your Constitution modifier had increased by one. Also, you can now gain the same benefits of a long rest by only taking a short rest.

Sixth Sense

Starting at 17th level, the life of traveling from one town to the next on foot has helped to hone your alertness and agility. You gain the benefits of both the Alert and Mobile feats. The following benefits are gained from these feats:

  • You gain a +5 bonus to initiative.
  • You can't be surprised while you are conscious.
  • Other creatures don't gain advantage on attack rolls against you as a result of being unseen by you.
  • Your speed is increased by 10 feet.
  • When you use the Dash action, difficult terrain doesn't cost you extra movement on that turn.
  • When you make a melee attack against a creature, you don't provoke opportunity attacks from that creature for the rest of the turn, whether you hit or not.
