Base Class: Barbarian
Hailing from the Icy Northern mountains of Freljord these Warriors are raised to fight not only battles against creatures, but Nature as well. Raised by a clan and distinguished as chosen warriors from an early age, Freljrodian Barbarians are fiercely loyal to those they deem worth protecting and fighting for. Harnessing the element of Ice with them in battle they are incredibly adept at dealing with the threats present in the Tundra they call home.
Winter's Bite
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, when you enter a rage you channel the Icy winds of Freljord into your attacks, dealing 1d4 bonus Cold damage on your first attack each round. The damage increases to 2d4 at level 6, 3d4 at level 10 and 4d4 at level 14.
Frozen Origins
When you choose this path at 3rd level you gain damage resistance to Cold damage and can remain unarmored and take no penalties due to cold weather.
Mindless Rage
Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.
Frostbourne Strike
Beginning at 10th level, whenever you land a Critical hit against a target while raging, they become frozen solid. While frozen they can take no movement or actions, and take 1d6 Cold damage at the start of each of their turns. They may attempt a Constitution saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) at the end of each of their turns to thaw. If hit by any amount of fire damage they will thaw immediately. Attacks against a frozen target have advantage. Frozen targets are vulnerable to bludgeoning damage.
Frozen Rage
Starting at 14th level, the heart of Freljord beats within you. All cold damage you deal while raging is empowered making targets that would normally have damage immunity to Cold damage resistant, targets that would normally have damage resistance take normal damage and targets that are not immune or resistant take damage as if they have damage vulnerability. In addition while raging, your resistance to cold is increased to immunity.
