College of the Scribe

Bonus Proficiences

When you join College of the Scribe at 3rd level, you gain proficiency in the following: Arcana, History, and Religion. Three times per long rest, you may cast Comprehend Language without expending a spell slot.

Frenzy of Scribbles

Also at 3rd level, you've learned how to use your writing to aid your spellcasting. As an action, you may expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die, to cast a spell of a level half (rounded down, but at least 1) or lower of the result shown on the die without expending a spell slot.

Additional Magical Secrets

At 6th level, you learn two spells of your choice from any class. A spell you choose must be of a level you can cast, as shown on the Bard table, or a cantrip. The chosen spells count as bard spells for you but don’t count against the number of bard spells you know.

Inspiring Words

At 14th level, you are able to use your writing to bolster those around you. Once per round, you may expend a use of Bardic Inspiration, rolling a Bardic Inspiration die, to grant inspiration to half (rounded down, but at least 1) as many allies who you can see and who can hear you as the number shown on the die.
