Base Class: Paladin
To walk the path of cultivation is to seek longevity and mystical skill through practicing magical and martial arts, training with a cultivator's longsword. Most cultivators in the world belong to a sect, the main four being Lan, Nie, Jin and Jiang sects. Each sect trains a different set of skills, and they can vary in both grand and minor ways. Generally, belonging to a cultivational sect means fighting ghostls and undead to rid the land of corruption, creating peace and abolishing evil in their lands.
The Wisdom of your Conviction
Where Paladins usually cast spells and their Paladin skills using Charisma, as their power comes from the strength of their convictions, Cultivators' power comes from their internal Wisdom. This, all paladin skills and spells that would usually use Cha are replaced with Wis. Your spell casting modifier and Spell DC are replaced with your Wisdom modifier.
Spelled Robes
Instead of tanking hits and strong armour, Cultivators specialise in moving freely around the battlefield, using long range sweeping strikes to control ranged foes and enemy attention. They do not wear heavy armour, learning from their Monk ancestors and using the Monk AC calculations, 10+ Dex + Wis. This effect is lost if you wear light, medium or heavy armor other than Cultivation Robes.
Cultivation Jian
Most cultivators carry longswords which they use to express their cultivational skills. When you take the path of Cultivation at level 3, you gain a Jian, or cultivation longsword, which acts as a +1 longsword. you must choose a name for your sword if you have not already. Your sword cannot be used by others, and is unique to you.
Rogue or non-jian Cultivators - Although most cultivators belong to a sect, were trained within the system, and carry a longsword, it is not the only way. Rogue (unaligned) cultivators, or ones who have for their own reasons abandoned the tradition of their sect, have been known to use chain-sickles and war fans, and any slashing weapon could be cultivated around. Remember that abandoning the techniques of your sect's founder is greatly disrespectful, and would arouse suspicion and judgement from many sect members. Also, rogue cultivators without an existing positive reputation will be met with suspicion, especially if they include themselves in night-hunts that main sects consider themselves involved in - which cultivators and clans engage in Cultivation activity is heavily politicised.
If you do choose not to use a cultivation longsword, you must still cultivate with a single weapon, which you should name and treat with due respect. Once you have chosen it as your cultivation weapon and named it, it gains +1 to both attack and damage rolls.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Sweeping Strikes. As an action, you can imbue your Cultivator's longsword with powerful, sweeping energy that lets you take better control of the battlefield. For 1 minute, any time you expend Divine Smite on a melee attack, the Radiant damage continues in a 20 ft line in the direction of the strike. The strike passes through and can damage multiple creatures of your choice. All creatures must make a Dexterity saving throw or take half damage. If a creature is hit by your longsword attack, they auto fail the dex save. Your longsword also emits bright light in a 20-foot radius and dim light 20 feet beyond that.
You can end this effect on your turn as part of any other action. If you are no longer holding or carrying this weapon, or if you fall unconscious, this effect ends.
At level 13th, Sweeping strike can become a 15ft Cone. You must announce before rolling each attack.
Ride the Sword. As an action, you can stand on your sword and can move around as if affected by the "fly" spell. You can fly for up to 1 hr x your Paladin level in this way. As this uses your Cultivation Longsword, you cannot use any of your Path of Cultivation spells or skills. If you make a melee attack, cast a spell with a Somatic component, or use an object (or make another similar movement, at the DMs discretion), make a dexterity saving throw against 20 - your Paladin level. (aka a paladin of level 5 will have a DC of 15, Paladin level 10 = DC 10).

Focus the Truth
Starting at 7th level, you have trained well enough with your Cultivation weapon that it becomes a +2 weapon.
As an action, you can focus your senses on the true state of the world around you. You gain 30 ft of true sight for 1 minute. You can use this skill as many times as equal to your wisdom modifier per long rest.
At 18th level, the range of your truesight aura increases to 60 feet.
Cultivation to Longevity
Beginning at 15th level, you have cultivated your golden core to retain you long past your expected lifespan. You now live 5x longer than someone of your race would be expected to.
When you drop to 0 hit points, your golden core fights to keep you alive at any cost. If you have 15 or more hit points left in your pool of 'lay on hands', instead of rolling a death saving throw, you instead expend 15 hit points to automatically succeed your death saving throw. If you have less than 15 hit points left in your pool, you roll death saving throws as normal.
You remove any hit points you expend in this way from your maximum Lay On Hands hit point pool.
Lay On Hands hit points can be recovered with the help of a Greater Restoration, or at a rate of 5 hit points a day.
Cultivation Master
At 20th level, the range on your divine sense expands to 1000 ft, allowing you to detect celestials, fiends, or undead in the entire landscape around you.
Without expending a use of your divine sense, you have an innate 30ft sense of celestials, fiends, or undead, as if you had activated divine sense.
