Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

When creating a Psychopath consider what drove you past the breaking point. Was it a tragic event from your past? Or a powerful mage toying with your brain? How insane are you? All psychopaths have voices in their heads, but which one fills your mind? Are you calm and collective on the surface, but secretly a murdering psychopath? Are you a crazy outer shell holding prisoner a fractured soul that wishes to escape. Discuss with your DM how the voice in your head affects your characters speech. How effectively can you relay information to others? Do the voice and the host have conflicting personalities? How does this affect your character's alignment?

When you become a psychopath usually something in your mind breaks. Your outward intelligence will be significantly lower than your score shown, but this is okay because the voice in your head can still be smart. It's good to think on whether it was an event, spell, conflict, or your own volition to lose yourself to the crazies now residing within you.

The Voices Wont SHUT UP!

You have learned that most people try to keep their distance from you. At level 3 you gain proficiency in Intimidation, if you already have proficiency in intimidation you can add double your proficiency bonus. As an action, you can attempt to scare creatures of your choice within a 40ft radius. Anybody with an intelligence of 2 or more must make a [attribute]Wisdom[/attribute] saving throw with a DC of 8 + your proficiency bonus + your [attribute]Charisma[/attribute] modifier. You may use this ability once. This increases to twice at level 9, and three times at level 17. You regain all uses of this feature after you finish a short or long rest.

This is Your Blood Not Mine! ...Oh Wait...

At Level 6, When you are reduced to 0 or less hit points, but not killed outright (such as by a sneak attack, surprise trap, or assassination), you can make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw. If you succeed, you drop to one hit point instead. Each time you use this feature after the first the DC increases by 2. This returns to a DC 16 after completing a long rest.

The minimum DC drops to 12 upon reaching level 11, and drops to 8 upon reaching level 15 in this class.

Pain is Friendship!

Whenever you are hit by a friendly creature, you can make one extra attack on your turn as a bonus action. You can use this ability up to two times, all uses are restored after a short or long rest. Damage dealt to you by friendly creatures and allies is taken as 1/4 that damage to take this bonus action attack. You add this damage to your damage if the attack is successful.

You may use your reaction when an ally attacks a creature within 5ft of you and fails the attack roll to take the attack to yourself and trigger Pain is Friendship!

This ability can be used a number of times per combat equal to your constitution modifier.

Get Out of My Head! Get Out of my Brain!

Starting at 14th level, when you would drop below 30 HP you may take a reaction to gain 5D12 temporary HP and go into your Rage (even if you have no more rage uses available). This temporary HP lasts until the rage ends or it is lost. This rage is potent and if someone tries to knock you out, or if you would be unable to attack a creature within range to continue your rage you can instead freely hit yourself for your unarmed damage to remain in the rage. This does not prolong the rage beyond 1 minute.

You can use this ability once per long rest.
