Base Class: Artificer
The chef is an expert in the culinary arts and is able to create some of the most exquisite meals. Some say it is the love they put into every minute of simmering and roasting, while others say that it is the artificers infused magical energies they put into their food during the cooking processes. Regardless of what the answer is artificers aren't telling and no one really knows.
Tool Proficiency
Starting at 3rd level the Artificer gains the proficiency with cooking utensils. If you already have proficiency in these tools you may choose another tool set instead.
Chef Spells
Starting at 3rd Level, you always have the following spells prepared. The following spells are considered Artificer spells for the Chef, but they do not count against the amount of spells you can prepare per a day.

Finger Foods
Starting at 3rd Level, the chef can create 1D4 + Intelligence Modifier in finger foods. It does require cooking supplies that contains basic herbs and spices and some sort of protean. One satchel of of cooking supplies can produce up to 40 finger foods. Any one that eats your finger foods gain 1d6 increase to their maximum hit points.
Short Line Cook
Starting at 5th level, the chef can now create a solid meal in less than an hour. You can create one of the creations below equal to your Intelligence modifier during a short rest.
Critter pie - Feeding this meal to someone will give the target the poisoned, additionally they must make a Constitution saving throw DC your spell save DC, or be under the affects of Zone of Truth. The target is allowed to repeat the save at the end of their turn decreasing the DC by 1 after the first roll.
Berry Bar - As an action, the person that eats this bar restores 2d6 healing to themselves.
Triple Berry Pie - With the infusion of magic you can create a pie that once cooled can create a projectile weapon for yourself. You make a ranged attack, if you hit deal 3d6 Cold damage to the target.
Slime Pie - By using the most disgusting slime filled ingredients you can create a hazard by throwing it to the ground. Make a ranged attack DC 5 to hit a square. The pie spreads over a 5 ft. Sphere. Any creature that walks over the ground must make a DC 13 Dexterity save or fall prone. The ground regardless of save is treated as rough terrain and requires double movement to move through.
Rock Heart Candy Apple - This requires an apple and apple seeds, the seeds are cooked in the sugar that creates the candy coating. Any creature that eats the candy apple gains a +1 to their AC for 4 hours. The apple takes 1 minute to eat, and should be eaten out of combat.
Master Chef
Starting at 9th level, the chef can now create a full meal that does the following affects. Alternatively, the chef can create deadly dishes also. The chef must have the food avalible to make. This uses all your cooking supplies and or a full dose of poison.
Any allies that eats your meals gain the following benefits.
- Restores 4d8 hit points
- Can roll Intelligent saving throws at advantage
- Gives everyone 2d6 in temporary hit points
- The chef gains the ability to use Beacon of Hope Once per a feast eaten.
All foes that eat your meal gain the following effects.
- Takes 4d8 poison damage also must make a Constitution saving throw DC your spell Save or gain the Poisoned
- Roll one of the Physical Saving throws ( chef choice) at Disadvantage
- Reduce the maximum hit points by 2d6
Signature Dish
Starting at 15th level, the chef can now create amazing dishes and foods to eat that goes beyond common food. You must spend 2 hours cooking your dish. Once a day you may pick one of the following choices. You may only create two dish, once you have used this you may not create more util after you complete a long rest.
All your dishes or foods you create all have the following benefits
- Restores 5d8 hit points
- Allows the consumer to re-roll one saving throw
You may choose one additional affect, by infusing it with your magic
- You may add one of your spells of 4th level and below to your finger food you can not use a spell focus and all material components are consumed (finger Food)
- Elemental Breath, you can use a breath weapon that has a 20 ft. cone that deals one of the following damage types; Fire, Cold, Lightning, Necrotic, Radiant (full meal)
- Ghost Walking, you can move through objects and enemy squares with out provoking opportunity attacks (finger food)
- Reduce all damage taken from all sources by your proficiency modifier for 8 hours (Full Meal)
