mechanist

A Mechanist specializes in using magic to operate large-gargantuan "mech suits", these, "mech suits", are used for multiple things, building structures, fighting, or sneaking around.

Tool Proficiency

When you adopt this specialization at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with tinker's tools. If you already have this proficiency, you gain one other type of artisan's tools of your choice. 

Mechanist Spells

Starting at 3rd level, you always have certain prepared spells after you reach particular levels in this class, as shown in the Mechanist Spells table. These spells count as artificer spells for you, but don't count against the number of spells you prepare.

3rd    Inflict Wounds, Magic missile

5th   Find traps, Hold person

9th   Haste, Meld into stone

13th    Conjure minor elemental, Storm sphere

17th    Destructive wave, Hold monster

Enginer

At 3rd level, you have unlocked your mech suit magic, you are able to make the destructor, and the constructor, your mech suit health is your health doubled plus your constitution modifier plus its constitution modifier, your max mech suit size is large. at 11th, and 17th level, your max mech suit size increases. large mech suits take 1d4 hours to make, huge mech suits take 1d4 days, and gargantuan mech suits take 1d4 weeks. The large mech suits cost 1,000gp, huge mechs cost 3,000gp, and gargantuan mechs cost 6,000gp. You are also able to have a number of mechs equal to half your artificer level (round down). Each weapon damage dice number is multiplied by 3 at huge, and multiplied by 7 at gargantuan. At large the mechs ac is your ac, at huge the mechs ac is your ac multiplied by 2, at gargantuan the mechs ac is your ac multiplied by 4.

 

Constructor

This mech suit is best meant for building structures and monuments, this mech's dexterity, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma, are all yours.

-your constitution is divided by 2

-this mech is equipped with carpenter's tools, mason's tools, and wood carver's tools that are a reasonable size for the mech which wile you are in this mech you are proficient with

Destructor

This mech suit is meant for battle and taking hits, this mech's strength, intelligence, wisdom, and charisma, are all yours.

-your constitution multiplied by one third of your artificer level

-your dexterity is divided by 2

-this mech is equipped with one martial weapon and one simple weapon, melee, or ranged that are a reasonable size for the mech which wile you are in the mech you are proficient with

Amour Smith

At 5th level, you have expertise with smith's tools, if you already have expertise with smith's tools you can gain expertise with any artisans tools you're already proficient with.

Sort Of Life

At 9th level, you are able to make artificial servants (also known as clockworks) from wood and other materials, like 100gp worth of material. You also can't make a clockwork again for another 1d4 months (ask your dm what clockwork you can make).

Extension

At 15th level, you can add attachments which one mech can only have two of.

Arm Of Three

An extra arm. this lets you make at least two punch actions per turn, adding this extension takes 1'000gp worth of materials, and takes 1d6 hours.

The Weapon Hidden In Thine Hand

A built in weapon in your hand of your choice that is reasonably sized for the mech suit this takes 1d6 hours and costs 300gp, this weapon can be any weapon.

Wrecking Fist

An extendable hand to your mech suit, this fist acts like a wrecking ball, your mech suit has disadvantage on attacks with weapons while its hand is extended, the reach depends on the mechs size, at large your reach is 5 ft, this costs 100gp worth of materials and 1d4 hours, at huge your reach is 10 ft, this costs 300gp worth of materials and 2d4 hours, and at gargantuan your reach is 15 ft, this costs 500gp worth of materials and 3d4 hours.
