Base Class: Warlock
Your patron is a powerful mortal from ages past who left their mark on the world through their deeds, for good or ill. Whether they were hero or tyrant, forgotten to time or a still-living, reclusive immortal now, or even yourself in a former life, you have been chosen to carry on their legacy, and have answered their call.
Perhaps your patron was an orc champion who slew many elves. Or they may have even fought to protect their plane from the invasion of evil outsiders. The warlocks of this pact are compelled to actively seek out the enemies of their patron. Through the strength of their conviction they draw more upon the ancient power, and ever closer to the ideals embodied in the past.
Expanded Spell List
The Paragon's Legacy lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
Paragon's Legacy Expanded Spells
| Spell Level | Spells |
|---|---|
| 1st | feather fall, heroism |
| 2nd | levitate, warding bond |
| 3rd | haste, beacon of hope |
| 4th | freedom of movement, secret chest |
| 5th | teleportation circle, hallow |
Legacy Armor
As an action, you can summon the regalia of your patron. Your AC while wearing the Legacy Armor is 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier. Regardless of whether it appears like clothing or plate armor, or anywhere in between, the regalia counts as light armor. Bonus action to dismiss.
Armored Strikes
The damage die for your unarmed attacks increase to 1d4. Your unarmed attacks count as simple weapons while wearing the Legacy Armor. At 10th level your damage die for unarmed attacks increase to 1d8.
Legacy Weapon
Gain proficiency with a single martial weapon of your choice. You learn a ritual that creates a magical bond between yourself and one weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon and forge the bond. Attacks made with the bonded weapon count as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. You are able to summon or dismiss your bonded weapon alongside the Legacy Armor. If you have the Pact of the Blade class feature, you can create the weapon in the same action you summon the Legacy Armor. Alternatively, you may select your armor as your weapon. If you choose to do so, your unarmed attacks made while wearing Legacy Armor count as magical weapons that use your Charisma modifier for attack and damage.
Greater Legacy
When you summon the Legacy Armor, you can use 10 + twice your Charisma modifier, instead of 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Charisma modifier to determine your AC. Choose one of the following effects to apply to your Legacy Armor. Once the choice has been made, it can only be changed when you would be allowed to change an invocation, and in place of changing an invocation:
- 1 type of resistance, choosing from: slashing, piercing, bludgeoning, fire, cold, electric, thunder, force, psychic, necrotic, or radiant
- +2 AC
- Adamantine
Legacy Spell
Upon gaining this feature, choose a mode and energy type(s). Once selected, the mode and energy type(s) cannot be changed. Energy damage dealt must be split evenly among all types selected, rounded down. As an action, you cast your legacy spell. If you chose weapon attack, you make a basic attack with your weapon with advantage, adding 8d10 + your charisma modifier to your damage roll, of the selected energy type(s). If you chose cone, line, or burst, choose a primary target. Your primary target has disadvantage on the saving throw against this spell. Deal 6d10 + your Charisma modifier damage of the selected energy type. Dexterity save for half, using your spell save DC. At 17th level, the damage increases by 2d10; and at 20th level, it increases by an additional 2d10. You cannot use this feature again until you've completed a long rest.
- Modes: weapon attack, 60' line, 30' cone, 10' radius burst centered on self
- Energy types: fire, cold, electric, thunder, force, psychic, necrotic, radiant
