The Way of the Sightless Monk is only for those monks most attuned with their ki, as they've replaced their eyes with sheer energy and discipline. These monks use their ki to grant them senses and reactions far beyond any still using their sight.

Prerequisite: Any character that wishes to take this path must be blind.

Ki Sense

When you reach third level and choose Way of the Sightless Warrior as your monk path, you gain blindsense in a base 15 foot radius. However, the radius also scales with your unarmored movement trait. Any bonus applied to your movement due to this trait is also applied to your blindsense. Your blindsense isn't quite as powerful as possible, however, as your passive perception remains the same, even within the radius.

Feel Their Moves

At 6th level, you can use your senses to flawlessly predict the movements and attacks of your enemies. You can spend 1 ki point as a reaction to make your opportunity attack when an enemy enters your melee range instead of when they exit it. Additionally, you can spend 3 ki points as a reaction when an enemy makes an attack against you to reduce the attack roll by a number equal to your monk level plus your wisdom modifier, and if the attack then misses, you can make one unarmed strike against them.

Crack in the Armor

Beginning at 11th level, you can spend 3 ki points when you make an attack to gain advantage on the attack roll or apply one of the following effects after a hit.

• Reduce the enemies' speed to one fourth with a crippling leg strike for 1 minute.
• Force a Constitution save against your ki DC. On a fail, the enemy has disadvantage on attack rolls as you dislocate their attacking appendage. They may retry this save on the end of each of their turns.
• Knock the enemy prone with a sweeping attack.
• Force a Constitution save against your ki DC. On a fail, the enemy takes an extra 5d8 damage of the type used in your attack as you attack a particularly weak point on their form.

Flawless Vision

At 17th level, your ki senses are refined beyond normally possible levels. Your ki sense grants you additional benefits now.

• You cannot be surprised.
• You can sense beings in the Ethereal plane within your radius.
• You can tell the school of spells cast within your radius.
• You can sense the existence of magic items within your radius.
• You can finally read, despite blindness.
• You can sense when a being within your radius is from another plane and which plane it is from.
• You gain a +5 bonus to passive perception and gain proficiency (or expertise, if you already have proficiency) in both perception and insight.
• Through subtle changes in heartbeat, breathing, and chemicals, you can tell when a being is lying.
