Base Class: Monk
Earth Wardens have mastered the manipulation of Ki and have attuned their minds and body’s to the earth. They can mold the earth to their will, making them savage attackers but also stalwart defenders.
Earthen Strike
Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can manipulate the very earth around you to have it strike your enemy with Earthen Chunks, Spikes, or Blades.
You gain 3 new attack options that you can use with the Attack action. These special attacks are ranged weapon attacks with a range of 30/60 feet. You are proficient with them, and you add your Dexterity modifier to their attack and damage rolls. Their damage is Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing, and damage die is a d4. This die changes as you gain monk levels, as shown in the Martial Arts column of the Monk table.
When you take the Attack action on your turn and use these special attacks as part of it, you can spend 1 ki point to make these special attacks twice as a bonus action.
When you gain the Extra Attack feature, these special attacks can be used for any of the attacks you make as part of the Attack action.
These special attacks are effected by your Ki-Empowered Strikes feature at 6th level.
Starting at 11th level the range of these special attacks is increased to 60/120 feet.

As a bonus action you can spend 1 Ki and produce a small barrier made of the ground beneath your feet. The barrier appears in a location of your choice within 5 feet. The barrier can be utilized as half cover.

The barrier cannot be stacked on top of another barrier. The barrier cannot be summoned if the ground beneath your feet is not solid i.e. mud.

Posted Jul 7, 2020I created this as a way to make the ranged ability’s of way of the sun soul combine with earth bending from Avatar. Still a work in progress. I think I am going to change onslaught of the earth a bit to lessen the damage to be more on par with other subclasses while still hoping to feel the power of throwing a giant bolder at someone.
