Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Path of the Stonefist Barbarians have learned to fight with unarmed strikes similar to monks. The difference however is that instead of practicing a form a Martial Art the Stonefist Barbarians have trained their bodies to rely on their brute strength and constitution instead of being agile and wise. This however has created a fighting style that matches perfectly with a barbarian's already chaotic fighting style. A stonefist barbarian is more likely to be seen headbutting, biting, or just punching their opponent instead of looking to make precise and possibly deadly strikes. But just as with monks many Stonefist barbarians see this Path are more than just a fighting style, but their own unique way of life. This way of life results in contests of strength, a joy for fighting that isn't that of blood lust, or finding new and different ways to train their bodies to become more like stone.

Body of Stone

As a Stonefist Barbarian you have trained your body to it's extremes making you tougher than most other creatures. As a result of this training your hit point maximum increases by an amount equal to your level when you gain this feature. Whenever you gain a level thereafter, your hit point maximum increases by an additional 1 hit point.

Raging Strikes

You have learned to use your own body as a weapon. Although you rely on brute strength for this purpose. You gain the following benefits.

  • You can roll a d4 in place of the normal damage of your unarmed strike. This die changes as you gain Barbarian levels, increasing to a d6 at 6th, a d8 at 10th, and a d10 at 14th.
  • While raging, when you use the Attack action on your turn, you can make one unarmed strike as a bonus action. For example, if you take the Attack action and attack with a greataxe, you can also make an unarmed strike as a bonus action, assuming you haven’t already taken a bonus action this turn.

Grapple Fighting

You have learned to take advantage of fighting a creature while you have them grappled, as well as learning how to more efficiently grapple your opponents in combat. You can now grapple an opponent as a bonus action. Additionally a creature grappled by you while you are raging is considered restrained. A grappled creature can use an action to try to break free free by making a Strength (Athletics) or a Dexterity (Acrobatics) check against your escape DC. The DC is determined by 8 + your proficiency modifier + your Strength Modifier.

Revenge Strike

You have learned to strike opponents just as quickly as they hit you. While you are raging, if a creature within five feet of you hits you with an attack you may use your reaction to make one Raging Strike against that creature at advantage. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Constitution Modifier (minimum of once). You regain all uses at the end of a long rest.

Stone Toss

You have trained your body to the peak of it's physical strength and capabilities. As a result you can now throw creatures that are grappled by you. When you gain this feature as action, while raging, you can throw one creature that is the same size category as you or smaller. You can throw the creature up to 20 feet. For every size category smaller than you, add 10 more feet to the maximum distance thrown. The thrown creature must make a Dexterity saving throw against your Stone Toss DC (8+Proficiency Modifier+Strength Modifier), on a fail the creature takes 4d6 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone, on a successful save the creature only takes half damage. You may target another creature within range. Make a ranged attack using your strength and proficiency, on a hit the targeted creature must succeed on a Strength Saving throw against your Stone Toss DC. On a failed save the creature suffers 4d6 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone, on a successful save the targeted creature suffers half damage and is not knocked prone. On a missed attack only the thrown creature suffers no damage. Features like Powerful Build are not taken into account when determining your size category for this ability.
