Base Class: Bard
The College of Hymns is the home of bards who mastered their craft in the Sacred choirs of great temples or under the tutelage of someone who dwelled there. Tutored by Clerics, Paladins, and other priests, these bards learn to use their magic to Inspire faith and zealotry in others.
The bards of this college are often seen with crusading paladins or singing in the halls of the greatest temples. They usually follow the tenets of whatever temple's songs they recite and can be a mighty force for the betterment of others, or seek only to use their talents for whatever cause they choose to follow for good or ill.
Hymn of Saints
When you choose this college at 3rd level, you learn two cleric cantrips of your choice. Additionally you learn the prayer of healing spell. These spells are always known to you, count as bard spells, and do not count against your total number of known spells.
Hymn of Salvation
Also at 3rd level, you learn to inspire faith in others. When a creature that has a Bardic Inspiration die from you regains hit points it may roll its Bardic Inspiration die and gain that number as temporary hit points. Additionally if you cast a spell using a spell slot that restores hit points to any creature you may grant a Bardic Inspiration die to that creature as part of the same action instead of as a bonus action that turn.
Hymn of Zeal
Starting at 6th level, A creature that has a Bardic Inspiration die from you can roll that die and add the number as extra radiant damage to the damage of one hit with a weapon attack or a spell attack that deals damage.
Additionally when you use the Countercharm feature, one creature of your choice affected by Countercharm may add radiant or necrotic (your choice) damage to their weapon attacks equal to your charisma modifier (min 1) until the end of your next turn. You may affect one more creature at 11th level (2) and one more at 18th level (3).
Hymn of Divinity
Starting at 14th level you may use your action to sing the most holy verse of your temple. Upon use all creatures of your choice within 30 feet of you, who can hear you, gain a free Bardic Inspiration die from you. Additionally any hostile creatures within 30 feet of you who can hear you must make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be frightened of you until the end of your next turn. Hymn of Divinity may not be used again until you have taken a long rest.
