Base Class: Paladin
As Paladins of Twilight offer their services to the transtition to death, they promote themselves to keepers of death. Enemies to undeath and unlife alike, Paladins of Twilight serve the transition from life to death, a most sacred ceremony. Though death is mourned, it is also a necessity. Paladins of Twilight understand that the transition from life to death is a sacred act, and one that should be preserved. You are a warden between life and death, reaping those whose time has come, and rescuing those who yet have time on this mortal plane. Some see you as a harbinger of sorrow and pain, others revere you as a saviour and healer. Which of these is true is for you to determine.
Tenets of Twilight
Dawn. Though there is darkness, there will be light
Dusk. Though there is light, there will be darkness
Twilight. Between each is the Twilight, the transition, the necessity.
Channel Divinity
When you take this oath at 3rd level, you gain the following two Channel Divinity options.
Reaper's Scythe. You can form a bond with a weapon over the course of an hour, this ritual does not expend your Channel Divinity. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity to summon your bonded weapon to your hand. For 1 minute after being summoned, the bonded weapon is enshrouded in dim, twilight energy, shedding dim light for 20 feet. Additionally, for the duration, the weapon deals additional necrotic damage on hit equal to your Charisma modifier and is considered magical for the purposes of overcoming resistances if it was not originally.
Dawn's Nourishing Light. As an action, you present your holy symbol as a warm, soft light floods your area. Each creature of your choice within 60 feet of you regains hit points equal to your paladin level. A creature can only benefit from this if they are at 0 hit points and are not dead.
Oath Spells
You gain oath spells at the paladin levels listed.

Dusk
Starting at the 7th level, you radiate an aura of strange twilight energy, stripping your enemies of their resistances. The aura does not pass through total cover.
All creatures of your choice within 10 feet of you lose any resistances they may have to radiant or necrotic damage.
At 18th level, the range of this aura increases to 30 feet.
Dawn
Starting at 15th level, when you are reduced to 0 hit points and are not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
Additionally, you suffer none of the drawbacks of old age, and you can’t be aged magically.
Twilight
Starting at 20th level, your expertise at controlling the ebb and flow of life and death makes you a powerful opponent. You can use your action to gain the following benefits for 1 minute:
- Large spectral wings sprout from a halo of twilight energy on your back, granting you a fly speed of 60 feet.
- Opportunity attacks made against you have disadvantage.
- Allies within 30 feet of you have advantage on death saving throws.
- At the start of each of your turns, you regain 10 hit points.
This effect ends early if you are incapacitated or if you die. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
Changelog
2.2 - Added dim light and bonus necrotic damage to Reaper's Scythe Channel Divinity option. The ability was very underwelming, not useless but I believe that, in combat, either of the options should be viable.
2.1 - Major overhaul of Channel Divinity options. The previous options were very lacklustre and didn't suit the theme of "warden between life and death" very well.
Replaced Vampiric Touch with Revivify for Oath Spells feature. Again to fit the theme slightly better.
Removed "immunity is treated as resistance" aspect of Dusk, and slight wording changes. Mildly overcharged ability, reigning it back slightly.
