Base Class: Warlock
One of the few and rare Elder Elementals in the world. These beings are so powerful that even just existing can create catastrophic damage to an area, but those who can survive an encounter with one of these entities may have the chance to strike a deal for their lives. The Tempest is an Elder Elemental of storms, its very shape always in flux as it is made up of the winds, rain, and lighting it controls, however usually it takes the form of a large winged serpent. To live to the fullest and accept the nature of who they are, those with The Tempest as their Patron must live without home and without restriction of their emotion. A life led by the winds with no rest or home may be unnatural or unfulfilling to some, but with the very atmosphere being a part of you, the trek is more home than any physical building.

Elder Flare
Starting at 1st level, you gain the ability to harness the elemental power of your patron. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
As a bonus action, choose one creature within 60 feet of you. You create a small storm cloud above that creature, which lasts for 1 minute or until you use this feature again. The cloud moves with the creature, remaining center on it.
While the cloud exists, whenever you deal lightning or thunder damage to the target, it takes additional damage of the same type equal to your proficiency bonus.
In addition, if the target makes a ranged attack, you can use your reaction to to impose disadvantage on the attacks roll, as strong winds buffet the target. Once used, this property of the strong cloud can't be used again for the duration.
Primordial Destruction
Starting at 6th level, you learn to infuse your spells with an eruption of elemental energy. Whenever you cast a spell using a spell using a warlock spell slot, centering the eruption on that creature.
Each creature of your choice that you can see within 10 feet of the target is subjected to a crippling electrical shock and can't take reactions until the end of your next turn.
Elemental Arcanum
Starting at 10th level, choose one warlock spell you know of 3rd level or lower that deals lightning or thunder damage. You can cast that spell once at 3rd level without expending a spell slot, and you can add your Charisma modifier to one damage roll of that spell against one of its targets. You must finish a short rest before you can do so again.
Improved Elder Flare
Starting at 14th level, your Elder Flare becomes more potent, granting additional benefits.
While the storm cloud exists, you can use your action to dismiss it, causing a burst of tempestuous energy. The energy flashes down at the target of your Elder Flare and then chains to as many as two other targets, both of which must be within 30 feet of the first target.
A target must make a Dexterity saving throw against your warlock spell save DC. On a failed save, the target takes 4d8 lightning damage, and it is stunned until the end of your next turn. On a successful save, the target takes half as much damage and isn't stunned.
