Base Class: Fighter
Since Silvanus, The Oak Father originally ascended to Divinity, there was a need for those who would protect his domain and keep the natural order of the forests. The Gaia Guardians can be found guarding the forests or even patrolling the Fey Wild. They are most commonly seen to be stewards of the natural world, culling beasts and creatures that threaten to throw off the delicate balance of the world. Gaia Guardians are most commonly chosen by Silvanus, but are occasionally recruited into the organization by other Gaia Guardians when necessary (and provided that the option has been given to said Guardian by the Oak Father).
Spellcasting
When you reach 3rd level, you augment your martial prowess with the ability to cast spells. See Spells Rules for the general rules of spellcasting and the Spells Listing for the druid spell list.
Cantrips
You learn two cantrips of your choice from the druid spell list. You learn an additional druid cantrip of your choice at 10th level.
Spell Slots
The Gaia Guardian Spellcasting table shows how many spell slots you have to cast your druid spells of 1st level and higher. To cast one of these spells, you must expend a slot of the spell’s level or higher. You regain all expended spell slots when you finish a long rest.
For example, if you know the 1st-level spell shield and have a 1st-level and a 2nd-level spell slot available, you can cast shield using either slot.
Spells Known of 1st-Level and Higher
You know three 1st-level druid spells of your choice.
The Spells Known column of the Gaia Guardian Spellcasting table shows when you learn more druid spells of 1st level or higher.
Whenever you gain a level in this class, you can replace one of the druid spells you know with another spell of your choice from the druid spell list.
Spellcasting Ability
Wisdom is your spellcasting ability for your druid spells, since you learn your spells through study and memorization. You use your Wisdom whenever a spell refers to your spellcasting ability. In addition, you use your Wisdom modifier when setting the saving throw DC for a druid spell you cast and when making an attack roll with one.
Spell save DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier
Spell attack modifier = your proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier

Living Vine
At 3rd level, you learn a ritual that creates a natural bond between yourself and one weapon. You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon and it is attached to you with living vines.
Once you have bonded a weapon to yourself, you can’t be disarmed of that weapon unless you are incapacitated. If it is on the same plane of existence, you can summon that weapon as a bonus action on your turn, causing it to teleport instantly to your hand.
You can have up to two bonded weapons, but can summon only one at a time with your bonus action. If you attempt to bond with a third weapon, you must break the bond with one of the other two.
Silvane's Familiar
At Level 3, the Gaia Guardian gains the physical representation of their soul in the form of a familiar. Rather than being a see-through spectral creature, however, the familiar appears to be a normal creature. Silvane's Familiar functions as a spellcasting focus, essentially casting your spells for you so that you can maintain both hands on your weapons as a fighter. At later levels, the Familiar can act on its own turn as if it was a pet.
Silvane's Familiar appears as multiple different creatures from day to day until it settles into a form (at level 7).
Familiar Separation
As you and your Familiar have grown more... familiar... you have learned to exist further from each other. While before, it was excruciating to have your soulbound familiar move away from you, you can now allow it to move at the end of your turn as if it were a typical beast companion. The familiar will share your HP pool, and by that logic, any damage given to one is transferred to the other. Your soul may manifest in one of the following forms:
Giant Frog: the giant frog gains your druid spells and can cast them, using your spell slots and casting stats alongside the included actions in its stat block.
Guardian Wolf: while the Guardian Wolf lacks spellcasting, it gains more in its ability to attack. Likewise, if you are equal to or smaller than it's size you can use it as a mount.
Eagle: what the eagle lacks in combat skills, it gains in its ability to fly and use its stats outside of the combat.
Settling Your Familiar
After your familiar showed itself, it spent some time trying to settle its form, changing between different creatures as it chose a form that was representative of your personality.
Fury of The Oak Father
Beginning at 7th level, when you use your action to cast a cantrip, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.
Silvanus' Strike
At 10th level, you learn how to make your weapon strikes undercut a creature’s resistance to your spells. When you hit a creature with a weapon attack, that creature has disadvantage on the next saving throw it makes against a spell you cast before the end of your next turn. This includes spells that may be cast by your familiar.
Living Vine Grapple
At 15th level, you gain the ability to sling up to 30 feet to an unoccupied space you can see when you use your Action Surge. You can sling before or after the additional action.
Wrath of The Oak Father
Starting at 18th level, when you use your action to cast a spell, you can make one weapon attack as a bonus action.
