Base Class: Barbarian
Very few Barbarian have mastered self control and management of their emotion, those that do however do not let their rage consume them. Honing it and taking control of it, they turn their anger into fuel for them to effectively and quickly dispose of their foe. Wasting not a single breath or movement, they become cold killing machines capable of turning a battlefield into a simple stroll through their garden or into a pass time for their hunting. Bringing out the hesitation of their enemies and displaying their weaknesses for all to make use of. These rare few barbarians turn danger into game.
Cold Rage
You begin taking control of your rage. Your emotions and anger become a tool of which you can use and control in order to achieve victory. Helping you maintain the strength given to you by said emotions or to use it at a moments notice.
Starting when you chose this path at 3rd level, your rage does not consume you and you are able to maintain a steady mind. You gain the following benefit.
- Even out of rage, you can perform strength checks with advantage.
- Even out of rage, when you perform a strength saving throw, do so with advantage.
- While raging, if you did not do attack or receive damage for the turn, instead of ending rage immediately, you may spend your reaction of that turn to maintain it.
Efficiency
With your rage now under control. You are able to make the most out of your actions, removing everything useless to the moment, you move now without a moment to waste.
Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, you can consume your bonus action to gain another action with the following options:
- Attack (one weapon attack only)
- Dash
- Disengage
- Hide
- Use an Object action
Calculating Rage
With you emotions under control. You make the most of your abilities in the heat of the moment. Your strength becomes a power that enhances your personality or maybe your charisma helps you deceive yourself and push your strength beyond what is expected. Your speed grants you time to think and with your ability to think things through you make the most out of your movement. Your wisdom gives you knowledge on how to make the most of your body and the experiences your body has gone through gives you knowledge on how to interpret your situation.
Beginning at 6th level, when performing a saving throw, you can add the modifiers or benefits, such as advantage or other bonuses applied to saving throws, of another stat according the following pairing.
- Strength and Charisma
- Dexterity and Intelligence
- Constitution and Wisdom
Relentless Presence
You have experienced a number of battles to the point your skills cannot be ignored, stopping them or slowing them down with your attacks. Even then you move as you will regardless what others do in the heat of battle, throwing a wrench into their plans by moving out of dangers path or by following someone and not letting them escape your blade.
Beginning at 10th level, you can consume your reaction and turn it into an action following the same restriction as Efficiency.
Additionally you are given the following options:
- Consuming your reaction, immediately move with all your speed available that will not ignore opportunity attack of any enemies in range unless actions or spells to avoid it has been used, such as the disengage action.
- When doing an opportunity attack, immediately move with half you speed available that will not ignore opportunity attack of any enemies in range unless actions or spells to avoid it has been used, such as the disengage action.
- When doing an opportunity attack that hits, reduce the enemy's speed to 0.
- When doing an opportunity attack that hits, reduce the enemy's speed by half.
Eye of the storm
Your battles have given you the skills to find flaws in your opponents to exploit or to use your presence as a means to create hesitation in the enemies numbers. And even after using all possible actions, you do not play to their rules and move and attack whenever the opportunity shows itself as they move. Ruining their plans.
Beginning at 14th level, Consuming your Action, you are able to perceive the most optimal means to kill your enemies, showing your allies the way or how to strike impose your presence onto the enemy where they begin to hesitate when fighting you.
- Force enemies that you can see to perform a Charisma saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier). On a charisma fail safe, your presence causes hesitation in them, they are unable to take a reaction and their attacks have disadvantage for the turn on you.
- Force an enemy to make a wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + wisdom modifier), on a fail safe, you perceive their openings, reducing their AC by half your proficiency for you, and after damaging them, allies share the same benefit as you do till your following turn.
Additionally, after using your Action, Bonus Action and Reaction on that round. You are given another reaction with the same ruling as Relentless Presence for opportunity attacks and movement.
