Base Class: Fighter
A brawler will rarely attempt to dodge a blow, preferring to take the hit for one of several reasons:
- To intimidate
- To give them a better chance at grabbing
- To crush and/or break the opponents limb
- To redirect pain to makes them angrier and stronger.
A brawler prefers to solve their problem with their fist, they are stubborn as hell, and they will always die trying.
Street Fighting
A Brawler likes to get close as possible to their opponent to knock them out with a punch. Through years of punching things, your fist hits like a charing rhino. To gain the following benefits, you cannot wield weapons or shield nor wear any armour.
Unarmed Punch: You punches deal 1d4 +STR modifier bludgeoning damage.
One-Two Punch: You jab and cross at every opportunity landing hits with your left and right. Your fists do 2d4 + STR modifier bludgeoning damages to your target while wearing no armour. At 10th Level, your fists do 2d6 + STR modifier bludgeoning damage, and at 17th Level, your fists do 2d8 + STR modifier bludgeoning damage.
Grappler: You also like to grapple to stay close to your enemies,
You have advantage on attack rolls against a creature you are grappling.
You can use your action to try to pin a creature grappled by you. To do so, make another grapple check. If you succeed, you and the creature are both restrained until the grapple ends.
Bruised, Sturdy, and Rigid: You have been beaten up badly, and you have beat others badly too. Your body has gone through rigorous amount of pain to help you withstand anything; giving you no need for armour.
When unarmored and without a shield, your AC is equal to 10 + DEX + CON modifiers.
Grit
As a brawler is amidst of a fighter, he gets stronger. For every 10 HP lost, he gains +1 Attack and Damage Bonus
Unending Wrestle
Starting at 7th level, your continuous scraps made you strong. You gain proficiency and expertise to Athletics.
Fear No Death
When you are reduced to 0 hit points but not killed outright, you can drop to 1 hit point instead. You can’t use this feature again until you finish a short rest.
True Punches
Starting at 15th level, your fists strike true. Once per turn, if you take the Attack action on your turn, your One-Two Punch ignores any bludgeoning resistances. You can do so no more than once per turn.
Punch for Punch
Starting at 18th level, your body's reflex is fully honed into battle. If an enemy lands a melee attack on you, you can take an attack of opportunity.
