Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

Barbarians. An example of the pure primal nature of humanity, manifested and personified into mortal flesh. Warriors who wield hate like a fine blade, honed and directed. Focused. There are some, however, who are consumed by this hatred, this rage. Those who wield it like a hammer. These barbarians are unyielding, unflinching, merciless tyrants on the battlefield, for they seek nothing more than to lay low all that stand before them. Barbarians who follow this Path, who are consumed by their rage, are true avatars of primal rage, for they nothing else but destruction.

Aura of Annihilation

Starting at 3rd level, while you are raging, the sheer force of your anger causes the air around you to vibrate. All attacks you make against enemies within 5 feet of you deal bonus damage equal to half of your barbarian level, rounded down.

Arm of Obliteration

Starting at 6th level, when you reduce a creature to 0 hit points while using Reckless Attack, you can use your reaction to make an attack against another creature within 5 feet.

Eye of Abolition

Starting at 10th level, you can use your action to discern how close to death someone is. Make a Constitution (Insight) check against the targets Charisma (Deception). On a success, you know if your target is above half, below half, or below a quarter of their maximum hit points.

Avatar of Ruin

Starting at 14th level, using the same bonus action when you rage, you can choose to unleash the anger that you harbor within you, allowing you to strike with the force of a titan at the cost of your very body. You gain the following effects.

  • The bonus damage dealt by Aura of Obliteration equals your barbarian level.
  • You can use your Extra Attack to make three attacks per turn instead of two.
  • You reduce the amount of all damage taken from all weapon and spell attacks by a number equal to half of your barbarian level, rounded down.

While you have Avatar of Ruin active, you take poison damage equal to twice your Constitution modifier at the end of your turn. This damage ignores resistance and immunity and cannot be reduced in any way. These effects last as long as the duration of your rage.
