Base Class: Wizard
Through trial, error and copious amounts of ink, you craft every variation of spells you can think of to bring new spells to the table.
Note Keeper
Beginning when you select this school at 2nd level, the gold and time you must spend to copy any spell into your spellbook is 10 minutes and 5 gold per level (5 minutes for cantrips). However, you do not automatically learn new spells as you level up, and start with no spells (if starting from lvl1).
Trial and error
Beginning at 2nd level, you can create spell scrolls for half the cost and time. Doing so however, has a high chance of making something go wrong. Make an arcana check against 10+the spells level. What happens on a fail is entirely up to the dm, as is whether you know about it, but some suggestions are the spell not working, having wild magic or some other kind of effects. These effects are tied to the spell, not the scroll, so copying them into a spellbook yields the same effects.
Cutting corners
Starting at 6th level, you can further reduce the time and money needed to craft spells by half again, rounded up. the new dc is 15+spells level. failure is twice as bad, and success still has additional effects.
Thin paper and watered ink
Beginning at 10th level, you again half the time and gold of scroll crafting, rounding up. dc is not 20+spell level, fails are thrice as bad as lv2, and succes is the same as lvl6 fail.
Ink scratchings and cloth
Starting at 14th level, once again half cost and time, rounding up. dc is 25+spell level, failures is fur times as bad, success is only three.
