Base Class: Monk
Face it, we have all pretended we can shoot bullets or fire from our fingers at one point in our lives. These monks took it one step further, channelling their ki to produce flames at incredible speeds. Whether they discovered it by accident or through years of dedication and determination, if you mess with these monks, you're gonna get burned.
Finger Guns
Starting at 3rd level, you can point your index finger at a target with your thumb pointing upwards and send forth a small fireball at rapid speed. You learn the cantrip Fire Bolt. Additionally, anytime you would make an unarmed strike, you can cast Fire Bolt instead.
Playing with Fire
At 6th level, you have become accustomed to the warm glow of fire, you gain resistance to fire damage.
Ace in the Hole
Starting at 11th level, you can spend 2 ki points to perform any one of the following attacks as an action. This feat can only be used once per short rest:
Rapid Fire. You spin and fire uncontrollably around you. Any creature within a 30ft radius from your position must make a dex saving throwing. A target takes 8d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Sniper’s Nest. Carefully aim at the head of a creature. The target must make a wisdom (perception) check (DC = your Wisdom score). The target takes 6d10 fire damage on a failed save. If you are above the target, they have disadvantage when making this check.
Spray and Pray. You fire rapidly, swaying side to side. Any creature within a 30ft cone from your position must make a dex saving throw. A target takes 6d6 fire damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one.
Ricochet. You have mastered your control of the Finger Gun. You bounce your bolt off of 1-2 surfaces, allowing you to hit targets behind cover. The range of this attack is based on your Fire Bolt cantrip. For example, if your bolt travels 60ft before hitting a surface, it can bounce off of that surface and continue travelling for another 60ft, totalling the 120ft range of Fire Bolt.
High Noon
Starting at 17th level, you can spend up to 6 ki points to target a creature you can see, for each ki point spent. You begin to charge your Finger Guns. As a bonus action, you can cast Fire Bolt against these targets. You can delay this bonus action for up to 3 turns, adding an extra 20 damage to the attack for each turn delayed.
