Base Class: Bard
Students of the College of Art know that just as much magic and emotion can come from paint, that a sculpture can inspire as much as any speech could. They do not need words to express and influence the world around them and they draw their power from this understanding.
Bards who join the College of Art become the ones who depict kings, the ones who define culture, the ones who unite armies under banners and inspire pride and unity using imagery.
Artistic Tools
When you join the College of Art at 3rd level, you gain proficiency with three Tools of your choice.
Any tool the Bard is proficient in can be used to create Bardic Canvases.
Canvas of Magic
At level 3 a Bard can imbue a canvas with a bardic spell.
This can either be done during a short rest or spending 1 minute on a Canvas. This still uses up the relevant spell slot but after a long rest the bard can choose to remove magic from a previous Canvas to create a new one.
Verbal components of spells can be ignored when creating a canvas, but every spell that has a material component must be worked into the canvas in some way.
Any creature other than the Bard can cast a spell from a canvas using only a successful performance check.
Any spell cast from a canvas has disadvantage against creatures that are blind.
At level 5, Any spell cast from a Canvas automatically succeeds on all Concentration checks. In this way multiple spells with concentration checks can be cast simultaneously.
At level 12, Any spell cast from a canvas can be set to trigger after a specified amount of time.
At level 18, Any Spells cast from a canvas that have a concentration check no longer have a limit to their duration.
Symbolic Inspiration
At 6th level, Choose an Artistic Symbol. As a bonus action you can roll a Bardic Inspiration die and can then allocate each point rolled individually to anything that you have imbued with your Artistic Symbol.
Each point allocated to an item gains a +1 modifier until the beginning of your next turn.
Infinite Canvas
Starting at 14th level, You can attempt to re-cast a canvas using a performance skill check. If successful the spell effects are halved.
This can be repeated on the same canvas until a failed performance check at which point the canvas is destroyed.
