Base Class: Monk
Who doesn't like portals? Not only for attacking your foes but to help your halfling rouge to get into and out of a vault with all the gold they can carry
With this sublass you learn to utilise portals to attack from unexpected places, make your enemies fall head over heels for you and transport that chest you've been lugging around out of harms way
Vorpal Strike
On your turn, using the attack action you may choose to use 1 Ki Point to attack using a portal. This portal can be summoned up to 30ft away from the user and the attack passes through it, the attack is played out as it normally would. Said portal can be summoned in the same square as a creature as well or in a flanking position for advantage on the attack. This portal is no bigger than a buckler shield and lasts until your next turn, this means the portal can work both ways for attacks (Enemies that are smart enough can attack you through the portal essentially)
Refined Portals
When you gain this level your portals no longer last until your next turn and instead disappear when your turn ends, additionally you can hold a portal open for longer and increase its size up to 4ft (Small creatures can pass through) this requires a concentration and follows the concentration rules
More Uses Then One
After gaining this level you can follow the rule above of Refined Portals but the size of your portal is increased to give you the option of opening it up to 6ft so Medium class creatures can enter through it. Additionally if you summon a portal of this size under an enemy within 5ft of you they must make a Dex Save (DC = to 10+Remaining Ki points) and on a fail they fall through the portal, the exit portal is 60ft up in the air and fall, on a successful save nothing happens
Vorpal Secrets
You finally mastered the arts of these portals and as such you can now increase the size of the portal to fit Large creatures, this feature can be used with More Uses Then One to achieve the same result. You also learn the spell Teleport which you can use = Your Prof Bonus Halved per long rest
