College Of Faith

Bards of the College of Faith are firm believers in the higher power of the divine, devoting their lives to honoring the will of their deity through music. Song is sacrament to the Faith Bard, and through their melodies flow the uplifting power of the gods. Worshipers of all denominations are known to express their belief through song, and thus Faith Bards can be found traveling as missionaries spreading their gospel throughout the lands. Despite the dogmatic differences they may have with each other, Faith Bards will work in collaboration with followers of other gods(mostly in hopes of a potential conversion).

Blessed Hymn

When using Song of Rest, all allies that can hear your performance regain hit points equal to half your bard level.

Divine Inspiration

As a bonus action, Bardic inspiration die can be used by the player it is given to regain hit points equal to the number rolled on the die.

 

Bonus Proficiency 1

When you join the college of Faith at 3rd Level, you gain proficiency with Religion. You also gain access to the spells Guidance and Bless.

 

Anointing the Choir

As an action, choose a number of allies within 30ft you can see equal to your CHA modifier. These creatures are under the effect of the Sanctuary spell and gain temporary hit points equal to half your Bard level. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

Immaculate Chant to the Envoy of the Almighty

At 14th level, you have proven your devotion as a disciple of your god, and thus may call upon them for assistance when necessary. Roll a d100 and refer to the chart to determine your deity’s response. Most common result is a summon equivalent to Conjure Celestials/Fey/Fiend(depending on your alignment), but specific request may be met, up to DM’s discretion.

(1-5 no response, 6-50 total CR 4, 51-75 total CR 7, 76-95 total CR10, 96-100 Divine intervention)
