Base Class: Bard
Do you remember the days of your youth, when you sat beside a candle and made shadow figures on the wall, creating animals and stories? It was fun, right? Wouldn't it be more fun, if the little bunnies and doggies came to life, hopping around? Can you see it?
And now imagine not doggies, but wolves. Swift shadows hunting you down, surrounding you. A large bird shadow snatching you up and pulling you away. Still fun? Yes, it is. If you are the one who casts the light.
As a shadowmime you elevate the children's game to a combat and problem solving tool. You can cast a light, wherever you look and by positioning your hands just right in front of you, several different effects are at your disposal. Some helping your allies, some hindering your enemies. The catch: You need both hands to do it.
Spotlight
As an action you can shine light from your eyes in a cone for 1 minutes. The light shines bright for 60ft and additional 60ft dim. When you close your eyes, the light is blocked.
You can use this feature at will (like a cantrip).
Shadow Figure
While your spotlight is on, as an Action, you can position your hands in front of you to invoke one of your learned shadow figures. The effects count as magical spells for the purpose of damage, attack and saving DC and can target a creature or spot you can see within your cone of light. Unless otherwise stated, the effect persists, when you move your cone of light away after casting.
If you have to make an attack roll, you have disadvantage for a target further than 60ft. If a target has to make a saving throw, it has advantage, if it is further than 60ft from you.
At 3rd level you can learn three figures. You learn two additional figures each at 6th and 14th level. When you gain a level, you may replace a learned figure with another one.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier.
Bridge
(Lvl 6) You span a shadow bridge between two points within your spotlight, that are no more than 30ft apart. For 10 minutes allied creatures can use this bridge to traverse difficult terrain, rivers or chasms.
Bull
(Lvl 3) A shadow bull charges from your hands to the target. Make a ranged spell attack. If you hit, you deal 2 bard dice bludgeoning damage. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or fall prone, if it is size large or less.
Cat
(Lvl 6) A shadow cat brushes up on the target creature. For the next minute the target suffers fall damage, as if it was 30ft less, and it doesn't fall prone. Also the target gets Advantage on Dexterity(Acrobatics) checks.
Crab
(Lvl 3) You choose an unoccupied spot within your spotlight to plant a hidden trap. For one minute, the next non-allied creature, that comes within 5ft (or is already there), gets pinced by a giant shadow crab ermerging from the ground for 1 bard die piercing damage and must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be grappled (against your spell DC). The trap can be detected by Truesight or a Wisdom(Perception) check against your spell DC within 20ft and can be dispelled counting as 3rd level. You can only have one crab at at time.
Eagle
(Lvl 3) A giant shadow eagle swoops down on the target. You can snatch up an object (500lb) or a creature, that is size large or less and is willing or fails a Dexterity saving throw. You can then move the eagle up to 60ft within your light and put the target gently down or drop it. You can move your head to move the cone.
Elephant
(Lvl 14) A giant shadow elephant stands over the target creature. For the next minute, the target gains the following: +2 Strength score, 2 Bard Dice temporary Hitpoints, counting as 2 sizes larger regarding carrying objects and being moved unwillingly, Advantage on Strength checks and saving throws.
Frog
(Lvl 3) A shadow frog jumps around the target creature. On its next turn the target's jump height and distance is tripled.
Goat
(Lvl 14) You choose an unoccupied spot within your spotlight to place a shadow goat. For one minute, when a hostile creature casts a spell of level 3 or higher within 60ft of the goat, the goat screams and casts counterspell at 5th level. The goat can be dispelled counting as 5th level. You can only have 1 goat at a time.
Heart
(Lvl 3) You choose an unoccupied spot within your spotlight to place an aura of healing. For the next minute every allied creature, that enters or starts its turn within 10ft, heals a number of Hitpoints equal to your Charisma modifier. A creature can benefit only once per turn. This aura can be dispelled counting as 3rd level. You can only have one heart aura at a time.
Owl
(Lvl 14) A shadow owl perches on the shoulder of the target creature. For the next minute the target gains the following: Movement does not make a sound, not affected by difficult terrain, can see normally in the dark and obscuring effects (except magical darkness), can sense and locate invisible creatures within 60ft (but not identify them).
Rabbit
(Lvl 6) A shadow rabbit hops around the target creature. If you target an ally, they can use their reaction once within the next minute to disengage and move 30ft, when a non-allied creature comes within 5ft. If you target a non-ally, they have to succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or move immediately 30ft away from you.
Snail
(Lvl 6) A shadow snail crawls over the target. This casts the Slow spell on a single target without needing concentration. The effect lasts for the full minute or until the target succeeds on their saving throw.
Slow: Target's speed is halved, −2 to AC and Dexterity saving throws, can't use reactions. It can use either an action or a bonus action, not both. Only one melee or ranged attack per turn. Spells with time 1 action, roll a d20. 11 or higher, the spell takes effect on creature's next turn by using its action. Wisdom saving throw at end of each turn.
Snake
(Lvl 14) A shadow snake winds around the target. An allied target gains immunity to poison damage and condition for the next minute. A hostile target suffers 3 Bard dice poison damage and must succeed a Constitution saving throw or become poisoned.
Whale
(Lvl 6) Choose an unoccupied spot in your spotlight. A shadow whale jumps out of the ground and every allied creature within 10ft does not need to take a breath and gains a swim speed of 30ft for the next hour.
Wolf
(Lvl 3) A pack of shadow wolfs surrounds the target. If you target an ally, they have advantage on their next melee attack within one minute. If you target a non-ally, the next attack on it within one minute has advantage.
Focused Spotlight
At 6th level you can focus your spotlight at longer ranges. If it is dark around you (e.g. at night or underground), when using shadow figures, you no longer have disadvantage on attack rolls and the target no longer advantage on saving throws, when the target is more than 60ft away from you.
Shadow Armor
At 14th level, as an Action, you can weave shadows into an armor, that floats around you for 10 minutes or until you are unconscious.
While the armor is active, you gain 2 AC as well as advantage on Dexterity saving throws and Dexterity(Stealth) checks. Also you have resistance against radiant and necrotic damage.
You can use this feature 2 times. You regain all expended uses, when finishing a long rest.

Goat: The goat is meant to disappear after the casting of counterspell, so it only works one time, within the minute.
