Rage Domain

The gods of rage and bloodshed don't often have clerics in the traditional sense, preferring to give their blessings those that bring the most carnage and anger to a battle. A cleric of the Rage Domain is one such person, using the blessings given by their god to prove themselves in glorious battle.

Bonus Proficiency

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you gain proficiency in Strength saving throws, and Strength (Athletics) checks.

Heedless Might

Also starting at 1st level, whenever you are hit by a ranged or melee weapon attack, you may reduce the damage taken equal to your Constitution modifier + your cleric level (minimum of 1).

Channel Divinity: Escalating Rage

Starting at 2nd level, you can use your Channel Divinity to damage those around you.

As an action, you shout as loud as possible into the air and evoke enraged energy that can deal damage equal to two times your cleric level. Choose any creatures within 10 feet of you, and divide that damage among them. You then gain temporary hit points equal to the amount of damage dealt.

Unstable Power

Beginning at 6th level, your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d20 of force damage. Whenever you roll a 20 for this damage, you deal an extra 1d20 of force damage. Whenever you roll a 1 for this damage, you take 2d20 force damage.

Aggressive Casting

At 8th level, whenever you use your action to cast a spell, you can use your bonus action to make a melee weapon attack.

Godly Rage

Starting at 17th level, as a bonus action, you can enter a divine rage, granting you +5 on your Strength saving throws, Strength (Athletics) checks, melee weapon damage, and damage with spells. You also gain immunity to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons. The rage lasts for 1 minute. Once you use this feature, you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.
