Base Class: Paladin
I created this subclass for one of my homebrew deities, Athryn the Mirrored Mistress. I recommend asking your DM to implement her into your campaign. You can add her however you would like, the only information relevant to this subclass is that her divine domain covers truth, self-reflection and self-images (including literal reflections in a mirror). It is a common practice to pray to Athryn while standing in front of a mirror because there are many wive's tales about people immediately getting prettier after doing so.
You are devoted to self-reflection. You like to spend time in meditation simply pondering yourself and how you could be improved upon. You also take pride in your self-image, finding it important to feel good about the outside in order to feel great about what's on the inside.
Tenets of Truth
Set an example of truth. You must not tell a lie unless it cannot be avoided.
Seek out falsehood. You must correct any falsehoods that are being dispersed.
Reflect on mistakes. Spend time doting on your past mistakes to learn and prepare for future successes.

Channel Divinity
Thwart Untruth: Whenever you succeed on a melee attack against a creature, you can use your channel divinity and force them to make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is unable to tell a deliberate lie for 1 minute and all Charisma checks directed at the creature are made with advantage for the duration. You know if they succeeded or failed on their saving throw.
An affected creature is aware of the effect and can thus avoid answering questions to which it would normally respond with a lie. Such a creature can be evasive in its answers as long as the effect lasts.
Derive Aspects: Whenever you succeed on a melee attack against a creature you can use your channel divinity to learn the creature's Damage Vulnerabilities, Damage Resistances, Damage Immunities, and Condition Immunities.
Aura of Truth
Starting at 7th level, you and creatures you designate within 10 feet have advantage on ability checks made to detect illusions.
This aura increases to 30 feet at 18th level.
Self Reflection
Starting at 15th level, whenever you are asked to make an ability check you can spend a minute in meditative self reflexion to add 1d10 to the roll. You must specify this before you roll. You can do this a number of times per day equal to your Charisma modifier.
Bane of Apocrypha
Starting at level 20, you have become a paragon of truth and a powerful force against the lies of others. You gain the following benefits:
- Whenever you use your Self Reflection ability you gain the maximum bonus.
- You gain Truesight out to 15 feet
- You have advantage on Wisdom (Insight) checks to determine if someone is lying and Charisma (Persuasion) checks when you are telling the complete truth.
