Base Class: Bard
The bards of the College of the Virtuous are exceptionally communicative and charismatic. They tend to draw attention wherever they go, singing, playing and telling captivating stories in the taverns and squares of towns and cities. A virtuous, as the bards who enter this school are known, are profound experts in ballads and exotic languages, loving to perform for different audiences while speaking in different languages, in a way that pleases all possible audiences and, even so, leave an air of mystery in the heart of each one.
These bards travel the world looking to learn new songs, stories and languages to expand their repertoire. A virtuous is so fascinated by music, dance and other performances that the most experienced can even feel the music with their whole body, and not just in their ears.
Additional Proficiency
When you join the College of the Virtuous, on the 3rd level, you acquire proficiency in three more musical instruments, of your choice. You also learn two additional languages, of your choice.
Strong Personality
At 3rd level, you become extremely convincing. You have an advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) and Charisma (Intimidation) checks. In addition, when a creature tries to frighten you and you pass the saving throw against that effect, you can use your action to demoralize that creature. The target suffers disadvantage in attack rolls against you and you have advantage in your attack rolls against him, until the end of his next turn.
Distracting Chord
From 6th level on, you learn to emit a short, targeted chord that takes all the attention away from a creature. When a creature within 18 meters of you that you can see begins to cast a spell, you can use your reaction to spend a use of Bard's Inspiration and roll a Bard's Inspiration die, release a strident chord towards them. If the creature can hear you, they must pass a Wisdom saving throw (your spell DC) or it will lose the concentration of its magic and fail to concentrate, wasting their spell slot without any effect. The creature suffers a saving throw penalty equal to the result of your Bard's Inspiration die.
Revealing Music
At the 14th level, you can play music that reverberates like a sonar, allowing you to perceive objects and creatures that you did not perceive before as the sound waves are reflected. With your action, you can start playing or singing. You gain seismic sense with a range of 18 meters until the start of your next turn. At the beginning of your next turn, you can use a bonus action to maintain this effect until the start of your next turn, up to a maximum of 1 minute.
After using this feature, you need to end a short or long rest to be able to use it again.
