Monk
Base Class: Monk

Some people are born with the power to bend fire. This means that they can influence and move fire as they please. By focussing themselves on this art they become firebenders.

Firebending Blast

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can emit blasts of fire from your fists. You may increase the range of all your melee attacks by 10 feet. Any creature or object hit by an attack you make by using this feature takes fire damage instead of the damage type it would have taken otherwise. Whenever you hit a creature using this feature that already has taken fire damage during this turn it takes an extra 1d6 fire damage.

Additionally you can use this feature to create a small fire within 5 feet of you and you may cast control flames without any spell components.

Surging Fire

At 6th level, your fire bending powers intensify. By spending 2 ki points you can use your action to cast fireball without the need for any of the components.

Lightning Bender

Beginning at 11th level, you learned to bend lightning. By spending 1 ki point you may cast lightning bolt as an action without the need for any of the spell components. You can increase the damage of the spell by spending extra ki points as part of the same action. for every ki point spent this way you can increase the damage of the spell by 1d6.

Fiery Propulsion

At 17th level, you gain the ability to propel yourself into the sky by bending fire behind yourself. You can spent your bonus action to gain a flying speed of 60 feet for 1 round. If you do use your bonus action during your turn for something else or don't use it for this feature you lose your flying speed.
