Base Class: Bard
You have chosen the path of visual artistry, imparting beauty through the eyes rather than the ears.
Stroke of Genius
At 3rd level, you gain the ability to weave magical power into images. You can use an action to create a magical image measuring 1 foot in diameter using a tool with which you have expertise. This image could be a painting, sigil, rune, or other visual art. The image remains on most surfaces, and you can remove it by touch as a bonus action. The image gives off a faint glow, allowing it to be seen in nonmagical darkness. As an action, you can learn the number of creatures within range of your image. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum of 1) and regain all uses after a long rest. You can create a number of these images equal to half your Charisma Modifier rounded up (minimum of 1).
Upon creating an image, you can give it one of the following effects, which has a range of 30 feet:
Image of Warning. You imbue the image with a vigilant power. The image gains the benefits of the Alarm spell. Additionally, you can use an action to see and hear through the image for up to 10 seconds. During this time, you are deaf and blind with regard to your own senses. While using this feature, you have darkvision in magical and nonmagical darkness for up to 30 feet. Once you have used this action, you cannot do so again until you are within range of the image.
Image of Guile. You imbue the image with a bewitching power. When a creature other than you comes within range of your image and can see it, it suffers the effects of the Suggestion spell. You choose the suggestion as you create the image. If it passes its saving throw, the creature is immune to the effects of the image for 24 hours.
Image of Legend. You imbue the image with a heroic power. When a friendly creature is within range of your image and can see it, it gains +1 to all saving throws while it remains within range of your image.
Image of Spirit. You imbue the image with a bolstering power. As a bonus action, you can give a creature within range of your image temporary hit points equal to your Charisma modifier. Only a number of creatures up to half your Charisma modifier rounded up can have temporary hit points from this feature at a time.
At 14th level, your images can be imbued with two effects and the range of the effects increases to 60 feet.
Additionally, you can use Bardic Inspiration on creatures within range of your images, if they can also see them.
Finally, you can use calligrapher's tools or painter's tools as your arcane focus.
Brush with Danger
Starting at 6 level, you gain a new action using a set of tools with which you have expertise.
Make a melee spell attack. On a hit, you deal 2d4 Psychic damage plus your spellcasting modifier and place an image on the creature you hit.
While marked with this image, the creature has disadvantage on Wisdom and Charisma saving throws, attack rolls, its walking speed is halved, and it cannot make attacks of opportunity. The creature can spend its movement to make a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC to remove the image, provided it has a free hand.
At 14 level, your damage increases to 5d4 and a marked creature automatically fails Wisdom and Charisma saving throws.
Masterstroke
At 14 level, your images increase in power. Any image created with your Stroke of Genius can have two effects, and its range increases to 60 feet. Your Brush with Danger damage increases to 5d4 and a marked creature automatically fails Wisdom and Charisma saving throws.
Bonus Proficiencies
At 3rd level, you gain proficiency in painter's supplies and calligrapher's supplies, if you don't have it already. Additionally, your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability checks you make that uses painter's supplies or calligrapher's supplies, and you may add your Dexterity modifier to those ability checks.
