Sorcerer
Base Class: Sorcerer

As a trickster, your magic and abilities come from the cheeky fey. Whether they are related to you or you were blessed by them with this power at birth. However you got your powers from the fey, the power you inherited focuses around illusions and messing with others.

Trickers beginnings

You learn the minor illusion cantrip which doesn’t count towards you total cantrip, and instead of only being able to create one sound or image you can make 2, but not of the same type.

Improved illusions

At 6th level you gain the ability to make your illusions more believable, when you cast an illusion spell and a creature tries to determine if it’s real you can spend an amount of sorcery points equal to the spells level (one for cantrips) to give them disadvantage on the check.

Alteration

When you reach 14th level you can alter the reality of those around you. As an action you can target one creature and force them to make a wisdom saving throw using your sorcerer spell dc. On a success nothing happens, but on a failure you can make the target believe that one object or willing creature is fake, and if they are in combat will ignore the fake thing, if they are outside of combat then they will investigate it. The target repeats the saving throw at the end of every other round. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your charisma modifier, regain usages on a long rest.

Terror Oblivion

When you reach 18th level, you have the possibility to trap a creature inside their own head, being tortured by the thing that haunts their dreams. As an action on your turn you can force a creature to make a wisdom saving throw against your sorcerer spell dc. On a success the creature takes 3d6 psychic damage, on a failed save the target is thrusted into their own mind where they are tortured by what scares them most, taking 2d6 psychic damage every round for 1d4 + 2 rounds. Outside the creature is incapacitated for the number of rounds it is there for, however any damage the creature takes will pull them out of their mind ending the effect. You can use this ability twice per long rest.

Trickster spells

Your fey magic gives you extra spells at certain levels, these spells do not count against the maximum amount of spells you know.

Level 3 - Mirror Image, Invisibility

Level 5 - Hypnotic Pattern, Major Image
