Path of the Highlander

You're a warrior, and you're a poet.  (To get the most out of this, you should also take a one or two level dip into Bard).   You have your kilt, you have your bagpipes, and you have your one or two-handed Claymore (longsword), and you've come down out of the highlands to fill the world with your kind of justice.

Master of the Claymore

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your skills with the claymore (long or two-handed sword) become very deadly.  You have a double proficiency on these weapons.

Highland Fury

Beginning at 6th level, you can’t be charmed or frightened while raging. If you are charmed or frightened when you enter your rage, the effect is suspended for the duration of the rage.

If a foe tries to charm you while you are raging, they must make a wisdom saving throw (DC is 8 plus your charisma and strength modifiers) or they will be frightened until the end of their next round.

Also beginning at 6th level, you can cast Vicious Mockery as a reaction to taking damage from someone.  You can cast this spell a number of times equal to your charisma modifier before you have to take a long rest to reset the ability.

Your foe's wisdom save is against a DC of 8 + Your Charisma Modifier + Your Barbarian Level.

War Cry of the Banshee

Beginning at 10th level, you can use your bonus action to let loose a war cry while raging.  Any enemy within hearing 30 feet of you must make a wisdom saving throw (DC equal to 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Charisma modifier).   If you have already damaged a foe, they have disadvantage on their saving throw. 

Anyone who fails this save is considered frightened of you until the end of your next round.  This effect ends if a creature ends its turn more than 60 feet away from you.

If the creature succeeds on its saving throw, you can’t use this feature on that creature again for 24 hours.

Revenge

Starting at 14th level, when you take damage from a creature that is within 5 feet of you, you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against that creature.
