Monk
Base Class: Monk

This monk specializes in using their ki to strengthen their bodies turning them into bodies more lethal than most.

Ki Charge

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can use your ki to empower your strike.

When you take the Attack action you can spend 1 or more ki points to increase the damage of the next melee attack you hit, this ability must be used on an unarmed strike or a monk weapon. This damage is equal to an amount of your Martial Art Die equal to the amount of ki points you expend.

Augmented Defense

At 6th level, you can use your ki to harden your body and increase your defense.

When you take damage you can use your reaction to expend ki points up to an amount that equals your Wisdom modifier (minimum 1) to reduce the damage you take by 5 times the amount of ki points you expend.

Additionally you can use a bonus action to expend 5 ki points to gain 10 temporary hit points.

Master of Body

At 11th level, your mastery of your ki gives you several benefits:

  • When you take the activate Flurry of Blows you can make two additional unarmed strikes.
  • If you don't hit with an attack on the same turn you use Ki Charge you regain the ki points you expended
  • When you make a Strength, Constitution, or Dexterity check you can expend 1 ki point to gain advantage
  • When you make a Strength, Constitution, or Dexterity saving throw you can expend 3 ki points to gain advantage
  • You can expend 6 ki points to double your walking speed until the end of your turn

Tireless Soul

At 17th level, you can overcome the limits of your body and push it beyond what is normally possible.

You can use an action to regain ki point equal to half of your maximum (rounded down). When you take this action you regain hit points equal to twice the amount of ki points you gain in this way.

Once used, this ability can't be used again until you complete a long rest.
