Base Class: Monk
Monks who dedicate themselves to the path of the Pale Oni are ponderous, slow to act and very viscous when they do. Mimicking the patters and combat behavior of true monsters Oni.
Pale Oni monks favor defense during their turn and offensive during other turns, sacrificing most of the speed of monks but can shine when out numbered by many foes or when ganging up on enemies with your allies.
Bonus Proficency
When ever you wield a Great Club, it is treated as, and has all benefits of being a Monk Weapon.
When ever you attack a creature using Monk Weapons or Unarmed Strikes and the attack happens on a turn other than your own, you may add a bonus to hit and damage equal to your Wisdom modifier.
Oni Stance
Oni are very patient and ponderous, Pale Oni Monks follow this doctrine. You suffer a penalty to your Initiative equal to your Wisdom modifier.
You are no longer able to perform Step of the Wind, but whenever you benefit from the Dodge action, you gain advantage on the next single melee attack you make (this advantage is lost if you lose the benefit of Dodge).
When ever you are attacked in melee, from a character within your reach, you may spend your reaction to make a melee attack against your attacker.
When ever you are hit by an attack, you may freely spend 1 Ki point to gain resistance to non magical Slashing, Piercing and Bludgeoning damage for that attack only. At level 14 you can instead gain resistance to all damage.
Oni's Wrath
When a creature within 5 feet of you casts a spell, you may immediately spend your reaction to make an attack against that creature.
When an ally casts a spell at a target, and that target is within 5 feet of you, you may spend your reaction to make an attack against that same target.
Frenzy of the Oni
Once per Turn, when ever you use your reaction, you may freely as part of that reaction spend 1 Ki point. If you do, then you regain the use of a reaction and may take a reaction any time after the current turn until the start of your turn.
Oni's Terror
When you damage a character and reduce them to 0 health or make a critical hit. You may spend 2 Ki point + 1 per each character you target. Each target must make a save vs your Stunning Strike DC and on a failure they are Paralyzed until the end of their next turn. You can target 1 character per point of Wisdom modifier you have and they must be within 60 feet of you and be able to see you.
