Thunderstrike

Starting when you choose this tradition at 3rd level, you can unleash nature's wrath through your ki. Whenever you hit a creature with an unermed strike, you deal bonus thunder or lightning damage (your choice) equal to your wisdom modifier.

Tempest's Wrath

At 6th level, you gain the ability to channel your ki into wild waves of energy. Immediately after you take the Attack action on your turn, you can spend 2 ki points to cast the Thudnerwave spell as a bonus action without verbal components.

You can spend additional ki points to cast Thunderwave as a higher level spell. Each additional ki point you spend increases the spell's level by 1. The maximum number of ki points (2 plus any additional points) that you can spend on the spell equals half your monk level.

Tempest's Nature

Beginning at 11th level, you gain resistance to thunder and lightning damage and your damaging attacks and effects ignore resistances and vulnerability to thunder and lightning damage, and stormy weather conditions don't impose penalties to your movement speed or ability checks.

Lightning Palm

Starting at 11th level, you gain the ability to channel pure lightning through your ki. Whenever you make an unarmed strike with your martial arts, you can instead hurl a ball of pure lightning at a target.

The lightning bolts use your wisdom modifier as attack modifier and you are considered proficient. Lightning Palm has a range of 30 feet and deals lightning damage. The damage equals your martial arts die but don't get bonus damage from your thunderstrike feat.

Stormbringer

At 17th level you become the embodiment of the Storm, sheathing yourself in lightning. 

You can use your action to channel the storm through your ki to cast lightning bolt without verbal or material components. You can spend ki points increase the spells damage. Each ki point spent increases the damage euqal to your martial arts die. The maximum number of ki points that you can spend on the spell equals half your monk level (rounded down).

You can use this feature a number of times equal to your wisdom modifier per long rest.
