Barbarian
Base Class: Barbarian

There are legends of unstoppable people who protect humanity from the forces of destruction out of sheer force of will. You are that person. Some call them witchers, monster hunters, or heroes, but no matter what they strive to protect humans from the much stronger monstrosities that roam in the night. Despite being normal humans, they seem to be able to match the size of much larger opponents, exploit the weaknesses of monsters and survive impossible blows.

Titanic Rage

Starting when you choose this path at 3rd level, your rage gives you the power of size.  When you rage, you magically gain the following benefits, which last for the duration of your rage:

  • If you are smaller than Large, you become Large, along with anything you are wearing. If you lack the room to become Large, your size doesn’t change.
  • Whenever you make a strength check to grapple a creature of large or larger, you can add your proficiency bonus to the result.
  • You can still grapple creatures that are intangible or ethereal. Creatures that are immune to the grappled condition only have advantage against your grapple check.
  • Your strength based weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 damage.

Monster Slayer

Beginning at 6th level, you become hyper focused on slaying enemies of humanity. While raging you gain a different bonus depending on what type of enemy you are fighting.

  • When you successfully hit a Monstrosity with a weapon attack, your weapon attacks score a critical hit on a roll of 19 or 20 for the duration of your rage.
  • When you successfully hit a Fiend with a weapon attack, you gain fire resistance for the duration of your rage. In addition, when you roll a 20 on an attack roll with a weapon that does slashing damage, you cut off one of the creature's limbs.
  • When you successfully hit a Celestial with a weapon attack, you gain advantage on saving throws against spells cast by Celestials for the duration of your rage.
  • When you successfully hit a Dragon with a weapon attack, you gain advantage on saves against their breath weapon, and resistance to any damage done by them for the duration for your range.
  • When you successfully hit a Fey with a weapon attack, you cannot be charmed by them for the duration of your rage.

Heroic Legacy

Beginning at 10th level, the tails of your escapades have extended beyond that of normal human endeavor. You can now add your strength modifier to Persuasion, Intimidation and Performance checks.

Colossos Rage

Starting at 14th level, when you rage you can choose to become Huge, along with anything you are wearing. If you lack the room to become Huge or Large, your size doesn’t change. In addition to the bonuses from Titanic Rage you gain the following benefits.

  • Your weapon attacks deal an extra 1d12 damage instead of 1d6 while raging.
  • Creatures you are grappling have disadvantage on checks to break your grapple.
  • You can wield 2 handed weapons in one hand while grappling a creature
  • Your movement speed increases by 10ft. In addition, Your movement is unaffected by difficult terrain, and spells and other magical effects can neither reduce your speed nor cause you to be paralyzed or restrained.
  • Whenever you hit an attack on an inanimate object or building, the damage is doubled.
